Walk to the spa in yukata

Perfectly located near the famous Dogo Onsen spa. Great area, easily accessed by tram, lots to see. A regular place on my Shikoku Island trips.

Convenient and friendly

Really enjoyed staying here -- close to the onsen, they provide yukata & shoes for you to use in the local area, tasty breakfast and really competitive pricing. Not sure what they're English capabilities aren't like but they are very friendly in Japanese and helped us figure out where to sightsee the next day.

Hotel room was the saving grace ...

The room (and the bed), was impressively nice and comfortably big. There was even a small sitting area with a small table and chair. Front desk people were very nice and accommodating. The restaurant/coffee shop served expensive yet not-so-yummy food. Free Italian roast coffee in the lobby from 7-10am had no aroma nor taste of anything close to brewed coffee, much less anything “Italian” —-LOL! - [ ] Right across the hotel is the famous (rather, “infamous”) Dogo hotsprings bathhouse. Entrance fee is JPYen 420 for hotel guests. Bathers have to bring along EVERYTHING needed to take a bath —- towel, shampoo, conditioner, soap, etc.. Otherwise, one has to rent ‘em all, even the hairdryer that works at JPYen 10 per 3 minutes. “Hot spring” water did not emit any of the usual sulphur smell at all. We were truly disappointed not to get the expected therapeutic effect for which purpose we came to this place. There were many souvenir shops selling incredibly expensive items. Not much touristy activities to do.

Rooms were cosy and clean. Fantastic location, right across Dogo onsen. On a separate note, I would recommend people to try the other, bigger and newer onsens (like Dogo Onsen Bekkan) - Dogo onsen itself was a letdown as it only had 1 bath for women and was very crowded (we had to line up in the woman’s bath to scrub down...)

Hotel close to Dogo Onsen

The hotel is really close to the Dogo Onsen and the shopping street. Room was clean and neat and as usual, small in Japan. The bathroom amenities were complete and good surprisingly for a small hotel.

Reachable to tram station, foot bath, park

This hotel is opposite the well known Dogo Onsen. From the hotel, you can walk to Dogo Park, tram station, the shrine and temple and the shopping stripe. Is just the right place to chill and to relax.

Just behind on the Dogo onsen and shopping street. Not value but convenience.
