To B & B or not to B& B

I know there are those who seek out B & Bs, but I don’t know why they do so. Whatever charm there might be is drastically overshadowed by the discomfort in this place. First, nobody answers the phone. They send you emails in advance with offers for early check in and reserved parking (for additional fees), but then there’s no confirmation of you agree. There was also no address for the parking, which turned out to be 6 blocks away!!! The check in clerk when we arrived at the loading zone apologized saying he tried to call but both our phones went to voicemail. That’s hard to believe and he didn’t leave a message in any case. He showed us our room (UNMASKED!!!) up a tiny spiral and then a steep second stairwell to the attic suite — the most expensive at the inn. Heavy, dark furniture, awful pillows, a/c blowing directly onto the bed, light switches in odd places, a door onto a shared rooftop that doesn’t lock all contributed to an uncomfortable stay. Will look for a full service hotel if we ever return.

I was very happy with the room. The ambience was very nice the bathroom was fantastic.

Good for couples.

Free breakfast is included if you book directly from the hotel, but is $18 per person if booked through Hotels.com. For couples, it is nice as it is cozy and you can be left alone. It is all keyless entry and there is no front desk or front desk person (which was nice). Would not recommend for any more than 2 travelers. Location is great and a great view from the upstairs deck.

Room was nice. Bed too small. Clean room. There was no garbage can to put trash in room. Overall the place was beautiful and room was cozy

Loved Atlantis. Very romantic, comfortable king size four posted bed. Bathroom was amazing and the jacuzzi tub was great. Shower had multiple shower heads. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

The property is very well maintained and in a good location. The staff was friendly. Parking is 3 blocks away near the boardwalk.

The Inn was Lovely, clean and safe. parking was a little iffy. I would book there again.

Beautiful Inn and great location

Beautiful off-season stay. Gorgeous rooms and property. The digital keys and check in process is wonderful
