Nice stay

Location is what you’re paying for here. It’s near many Chicago attractions or just a walk/train ride away. Room is small/average not much storage space. Elevator system is different but works.

Fantastic location

Fantastic location right on the river. We upgraded to a room with a river view and the only downside was that it is literally across the river from a Trump branded skyscraper. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The entry, lobby, and ground floor is all very elegant. The ground floor elevator hallway was often noisy and crowded with people going to the rooftop. We loved the location as it was a short walk to restaurants, the lake, Millennium Park, the Art Institute, and other places.

Chi Town weekend

Everything was really nice. Check in was simple and the staff was very attentive. Mattress was nicer that expected. We had one of the full glass view suites - exceptional view of the river. Michigan Avenue is right outside the hotel entrance. Corner Bakery on the property. Starbucks across the street. It's an expensive property; but it did produce as advertised. The concierge was also helpful with a dinner reservation. Nice experience overall. We were on the tenth floor. great view!

Good location

Wish they had a bathtub. AC alittle noisy. Otherwise, very nice staff and great location.

Room with a view!

We had such a fantastic time at the LondonHouse! We upgraded our room at check-in for a reasonable rate as we were staying for 6 nights, and had an amazing view of the city, river and lake - which I would highly recommend if you can. You can even see the fireworks at Navy Pier from your room. The location is great and allows you to explore much of the city on foot. Room cleanliness was great, and the team were so friendly for our entire stay. We also appreciated the management of the busy rooftop (some days there were long queues in the lobby to get up there) without compromising the experience for hotel guests (the team sectioned off separate elevators so you could still access your room easily).

High end Rate but not high end hotel

Nice, but was expecting more- not as luxurious/posh as expected for the price. Small lobby bar that closes at 10 pm on holiday weekend, rooftop very over rated and extremely crowded with non-hotel guests- you couldn't even get service it was so packed. Lobby full of non-guests as well waiting in line to get to roof top. No where to get a soft drink or ice to the room. Room on the small side with only one drawer, carpet stained. Very weak water pressure in shower, room dusty as well. It was nice but not worth the higher end rate they charge. Great location.
