Not really a family Friendly Hotel

The hotel was chosen for its close location to airport, but overall was not family friendly. Alot of drunk and disorderly people hanging around corridors and lift areas. Which family found distressing and scary. The type of people this hotel attracts was quite obvious when we checked in.

Horrible service at this almost luxury price point

Our stay was very disappointing. We tend stay at hotel with Pride Plaza like budget because of services and hospitality. The services were on par with an average hotel. The hospitality was very very bad. The staff was very rude. We had several occasions when we had to ask for the same thing (as simple as a takeaway mug for our coffee so that we do not simply waste it) and there was no response what so ever. We had many such occasions. The staff was very unprofessional and felt naive with no sense of customer needs and satisfaction.

Checked in at 8pm and when entered the room the carpet was wet and stinking, toilet was leaking. There was no information in the room about in room dining or anything. Reception never answered the phone. Went downstairs to the reception and was told they are busy and will address me later. When did not hear anything then went back downstairs and met manager and had argument. They agreed to change the room and put me in new room at 11pm. When went into new room, it had no towels or bathroom amenities. Reception never answered the phone. Went down again to ask them to send towels and soap. Had a terrible stay ever.

We reached out to the hotel 1 day prior to arrival to move our stay back 3 days because we had a family emergency and couldn't check in as planned. We didn't want to cancel the booking but just kindly asked to move the check-in date by 3 days, which was also still showing available on Orbitz for the same price as we paid. However, the hotel was not helpful at all and told us they couldn't do anything and thus in the end we had to pay and book another hotel which we feel is not very good customer service, especially for such a large hotel that had availability and could've easily switched our booking if they wanted really wanted to.

Bad experience

Not a five star hotel. Musty odor can be felt throughout the rooms and the hallway . Clogged drains in the bathrooms. Stained upholstery and loose power outlets.

stay at Pride Plaza

It was ok. Receptionist upon check-in didn't charge, so at the time of check-out another receptionist did it. That caused little stress as I was traveling out of country and can't check my Indian account from airport. They should make the check-in and out easy especially for international travelers.
