Hot water is working even I arrived at 11pm, which is really awesome. The toilet probably clean up twice a day, it is not very clean but fine with me. I booked a twin room and the night view can be seen from the window. It is awesome. The breakfast is fine, possibly everyday is the same. They also offer laundry service and collect same day on 11 pm. The area is convenient, money exchange, shops, grocery store, and pubs are around. Do bring your ear plugs, it noisy in the early morning for collecting the trash, and music at night from the bar around.

Excellent wifi and located in a fantastic part of town near some great places to eat! Included breakfast. Comfortable beds & hot showers. Ended up with a room without a window, which don’t prefer.

Convenient hostel

Ideal location, right next to the witches markets and San Francisco Plaza. Shower was only hot half the time, & the pillows were lacking. Otherwise a good place to stay!

Good location

I had an allergic skin reaction to the bed sheets, never had it before and I usually don't have sensitive skin. Other than this the hotel was in a great location, breakfast was a standard Bolivian affair with bread and jam, and the shower was relatively warm.

Central location

Great, central location, clean, spacious room and decent breakfast. Next to plaza de francisco so a bit noisy and no curtains on windows so bright room at night (bring an eyemask). Rooms only serviced every 3rd day on request. Stairs can be a challenge when on the 5th floor!

This is a hostel. Not a hotel, not a B&B...

Pros: + Cheap (We paid $35/night for a private room and private bathroom) + Great location, near witches market and great restaurants + Well-decorated (cute themes) + Travel "agency" in the lobby of the hotel to help you with reservations + Staff speaks English and Spanish Cons: - Super sheer curtains. It is really, really bright beginning at 6am. - You can hear everything. Even on a Wednesday morning, we heard no less than 4 people throwing up from rooms surrounding ours. We got to witness everyone's hangover in surround sound. Not recommended ;) - Our towels and sheets smelled like they either hadn't been washed recently, or were folded when wet (very strong mildew/mold smell.) - Shower takes 10+ minutes to heat up (but this is pretty normal in Bolivia from what we've heard, even at nicer hotels.) - Wifi in the lobby only, even though they say it is available in the rooms, it is not. It's Bolivia though - wifi isn't something that's super reliable in most places. If you have an eyemask and earplugs and really low expectations, you will probably be fine. If you're looking for a hotel of "Western standards", recommend that you find somewhere else.
