Lovely location, friendly staff,great views.Big rooms.

We have stayed at this hotel before and had no complaints. This time however is different. Room 42 was not serviced by the lift and to get to the room we had a lift up to ground 3 where we had to climb 3 steps to get on the landing, landing to a door that led you to stairs which you climbed then on to another landing where you came across stairs that you had to go down. Not so bad until you have to carry you luggage. We entered our room to find a maintainance man repairing a leaky toilet. There was no bulb in one of the bedside lamps, which when reported was sorted within 5 mins. We used a whole loo roll to get rid of the condensation on the panes of glass just to be able to see the sea view but best of all was the door into the bathroom. It opened and closed like any door but was so narrow that you had to side step into it. On the plus side the room was warm and cosy, tea and coffee were on offer and the view was spectacular.

After reading some poor reviews, we were very pleasantly surprised! Our Room was newly refurbished and comfortable Breakfast was good and overall had a lovely stay

Not very happy . First night was ok and breakfast was fine . On second night on retuning to room the wall by window was soaking from water blowing in and room was freezing due to the draft. Had to use towels on windowsill to try stop water and draft. Spoke to night porter who give us more towels and a portable heater to warm up as no other rooms available. Complained in morning after not much sleep as cold and the noise of the wind . The guy on reception not interested just we'll get someone to look at it ok. If he'd offered a free breakfast it would have been something but no he just said thank you and turned to deal with someone else . Spoilt the weekend.

We stayed as a group of 8 on Sunday eve, and the level of service was outstanding, I had booked room 22 and 23 which are both large, clean and very nice, the staff we met couldn't have done anymore, breakfast was again very well done and the staff were fabulous, all in all thank you for looking after us

The Hotel is tired and needs an up date. The only thing it has going for iti is the view.

A very tired hotel, dirty carpets, scuff marks on walls & doors peeling paint on the outside walls & in rooms, dirty grout around tiles in our room 12, outside terrace was left with glasses & upturned chairs for several hours whilst bar staff stood around. The location of this hotel was in a perfect with superb sea views and should have, could have been Tenbys Jewel. Our room was changed on arrival because the window in room 16 would not shut, Very disappointing.

very nice hotel with great views could just do with a bit of freshing up

Excellent location. Beautiful views from restaurant. Very good breakfast. Our room had quite good furniture but the wallS were very bad could do with a paint. And could do with a very good clean. Carpet had all bits from the last people. Bathroom floor hadn’t seen a mop in a long time and the sink was dirty .

A very disappointing stay. The hotel needs a complete deep clean and upgrading. I know its a very busy hotel but it should be clean. The room was ok but a dirty towel was left and dirty cups. Stained carpets. Toilet brush was disgusting. But the hotel is in a famtastic spot. So close to town.
