Classic Aussie hotel. Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Excellent food and drink on offer. Close to the beach. Fair price. Shared bathrooms were clean as a whistle. Couldn't ask for more.

Incredible stay at the Local Hotel. Clean and cute rooms, very comfortable beds, and thoughtful touches like free coffee or tea in room and lux towels / robes. Location is quiet and perfect, in the heart of adorable South Fremantle. Restaurants and cafes within feet, 10 min walk to swimming beach and 15 min walk to downtown Fremantle. Extended my stay here longer and hope to come back again.

I had a great time, everything was perfect just that I was a bit shocked when I found out my room didn't have a bathroom and had to use a communal bathroom.

The hotel was old but very well kept. Rooms very big and tidy

Historical Character . Lovely old building. Fantastic location.

The room was very comfortable and spacious. There was several places to eat at the establishment and also plenty of other restaurants and coffee shops nearby. Close to the city of Fremantle without the hustle and bustle. Free parking was a bonus. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Friendly. Nice to sit outside and watch passers by. But Saturday party was v v v noisy. This shd be sorted - more blocks. Also we hadn’t twigged the bathroom was down the hall. But it was not expensive and the rooms were fine

Loved the vibe of the old building with modern upgrades and the meals available as fantastic!

They seemed to forget that we were checking in late despite 2 emails confirming, and 2 phone calls. They therefore forgot to leave us a key so we had to sleep in the corridor! The rest of our stay was good. But in refunding us some of the first nights stay (not the full amount) it has been a 1.5 month effort to try and get them to send us the refund to the correct account after a series of errors from their end. Overall a disappointing experience and one that I have not experienced before
