A truly special place

I have so many great things to say about Palazzo Murrano, their wonderful staff, the beautiful hotel, and the lovely town of Vico Equense. The location is perfect for those that want to escape the big crowds of other coast towns and Palazzo Murrano is by far the finest of the hotels there. The hotel is updated and the rooms impressive with beautiful balconies with incredible views. You have access to the pier which is a great spot to sun bathe, take a dip in the sea and has full service (food, drinks etc). The staff at the hotel (Alfonso and Johanna in particular) have the best recommendations and are very kind and helpful. We took a boat trip to Capri that left from right outside the hotel and enjoyed gourmet food at a Michelin star restaurant within walking distance. This is a place you will fall in love with!

We stayed here for four nights and wish we could’ve stayed longer. Very clean and modern hotel. Staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. The pier is very nice place to relax with good food and wine. It’s a quiet area that has several nice bar/restaurants. Would definitely visit again.

Lovely hotel

Small hotel in the marine area. Private beach was closed due to off- season. The hotel room was highly maintained and clean. good breakfast in a lovely area and friendly staff. Parking nearby 5 Euro per day.

Great place to stay in a quiet village.

This was one of many stops on our honeymoon. The Palazzo Murrano was wonderful. The hospitality team was incredible and helpful with arranging tours and adventures. The only thing we found average was the mattress comfort. We always stay at Marriotts and are a custom to their comfort. We found the mattress and pillows a bit uncomfortable. Given this fact, we would stay here again.

This was the cleanest, most welcoming, most amazing accommodation we have experienced in 15 years of travel experiences. The breakfast was amazing. The room and bathroom were beautiful and perfectly clean and new. The staff becomes your family after only a six night stay. Alfonso was delighted to help us make the most of our stay. He organized excursions, meals, transportation. He is a major reason this property is the Gem of this area of Sorento Coast. We visited Pompeii, Vesuvius, Positano, Capri, Amalfi Coast Path of the Gods, ate amazing food, and enjoyed the hotel's impressive private sun deck, all facilitated by Alfonso. If you want easy access to all parts of this part of Italy while enjoying a stay at the quintessential boutique hotel, Palazzo Murrano must be your choice.

Amazing

There’s not one bad thing to say about this hotel, amenities, surrounding area or staff. Everything was perfect and the staff catered to our every need and were so polite and welcoming, too. Couldn’t recommend this place any more!

Better than I could ever have expected

As a present for my 50th birthday, my missus wanted to treat me to a holiday away and found this place and it looked pretty good. Situated by a marina, there are some great bars and restaurants along the waterfront plus one below us. The first worry was that because there was a restaurant below it would be noisy? The double glazing and soundproofing was so good, I think that if a bomb went off outside you wouldn't hear it. The hotel also has it's own private pier and sun loungers (though the umbrellas are extra) though on weekends they open up to paying customers as well as guests. The breakfasts were served on their rooftop terrace which has an amazing view of the bay although you can sit inside if you wish. All the staff were polite and friendly and gave us some great tips about where to eat locally and where to go. It is one place I'd love to go back and stay again... So much so I didn't want to come home! There is no parking at the hotel but they have an arrangement with the ever friendly Giovanni at the local campsite where they offer a reduced rate for parking.
