Great budget hotel. Only thing to note is that the shower is in an open area in the room and has a clear door with a frosted mid strip (presumably for privacy). Makes for very awkward showering if you are not a couple

Location was good and the area has developed a lo over the last 4 years with many good restaurants and only 11 mins from main station. However when we came to check in the male receptionist was very rude and asked us to move away before he served us. He then proceeded to continue to be unfriendly and acted like a smart ass. The room was ok but the main problem was that we were given a room where the light in the wc was not working correctly and was on all night. pillows and towels are very small but that's what is expected from an ibis budget.

Front office Staff at ibis Technopark Zurich are really friendly and helpful. Rooms are ok only. Boathroom water got stuck

Some people let the doors slam closed and I'm almost getting a heart attack while sleeping.

The hotel is simple but nice and clean. The only issue is the toilet and shower. Make sure you share the room with very close relatives or friends. There is not privacy at all while in the toilet or taking a shower. I actually left when my friend was using the facilities and went to to public toilet downstairs in the restaurant as I didn’t want to use the facilities while my friend was there.

Very, VERY compact but clean. Desk personnel were very helpful. Very quiet.

A electric kettle in the room could help a lot.

Ibis Budget is a nice, no frills cheap alternative to staying in a very expensive city. The parking garage was a decent price and the main reason we chose this hotel besides price. Downtown Zurich is walkable in about 30 minutes time. We enjoyed the walk each day. The tram station is directly in front of the hotel if you would rather take that. Line 4 goes straight into downtown. Our only complaint would be the location of the power outlets in the room. There were only two. One was on the opposite side of the bed on the far wall and one in the bathroom. Neither one was anywhere near the bed. It's 2019. This is unacceptable in my opinion. Everyone plugs their phones in by the bed. Having to get up and go to the other side of the room to retrieve anything that needed power was very annoying. Other than that, the room was small, but cozy. The bunkbed on top was a humorous bonus.

Clean and tidy hotel within walking distance of Hardbrucke and Techno Park and only 10CHF taxi to Zurich HB.
