Accommodation is very clean. Bed was of very high quality and extremely comfortable. Owners are extremely obliging and thoughtful. Our shower head sheared off suddenly (these things happen - it wasn't rusty or anything); the owners had one in stock and it was replaced within 15 minutes.

We planned on stopping overnight in York on a road-trip, and had our travel plans changed by road closures - the owners were very accomodating to set us up for an additional night and make sure we were settled in. Very comfortable and quiet beds, and everything was clean and in good working order. A nice base to explore York and the area either on foot (a short walk down the Main Street into the town) or by car - would recommend anyone staying in York a day or two.

Kerry was wonderful when we checked in and showed us to our room and explained a couple of things. The room is basic with everything you needed for a stay. There was bread and cereal for breakfast and milk to boot. The property is only a short walk from town. If you are a light sleeper you might struggle, as there is some road noise and you can hear the train. Other than that if you want some cheap digs in York give Kerry a bell.

We stayed in York last Saturday night to go to the Classic Car Show the next day. Motel room was very clean, smelt nice and had everything you need. Owner was lovely and very helpful. Would stay again.
