One night but a decent room. Comfortable bed with nice linen. The room and bathroom were very clean. Reception staff very helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Fair

The hotel is in central location, it has fair price for the services and the condition of the rooms. The stuff from Pella hotel is friendly and ready to help. The mattress wasn't good for me.

Greater attention to details required

Whil the front-desk staff were friendly and approachable, the room could have done with some TLC: 1. Some cups, even if only some disposable plastic ones, would be a good addition that wouldn't cost the Earth. 2. Bathroom was disappointing: A. Most of the time it smelled of cigarette smoke (I do not smoke), presumably coming from other rooms or the hall through the ventilation system. B. The plug mechanism in the sink was broken; it needs to be fixed. C. The shower took a dog's age to drain. Then I realised why: it was clogged with a large lump of hair. (I removed some of the hair with a knife.) D. The soap holder in the shower was loose. Even at a budget hotel like Pella, these are things that should be addressed (especially the cleanliness of the shower). On the plus side, the location and Wi-Fi were good.

Great location

Very nice, clean hotel with efficient service. Double room is a bit small for two, but the central location makes up entirely for this. Excellent price quality ratio. I would definitely stay at Pella again.

Saloniki Summer

Very unassuming property, well organized and situated perfectly where I wanted to be. Room decent size and full bath pleasant surprise. AC fine. Tile floor welcoming.

Friendly staff, good location

Very friendly and helpful staff. Well located, even though it's not by the water area. The building is a bit older, but everything works well.

The Pella is located in Thessaloniki’s central district, but in an area with a definite neighborhood vibe….so a supermarket just across the street, bakeries, cafes, apartment buildings, and on a fairly quiet city street. I enjoyed all of this, and also the fact that I was just a block or two away from some major ancient and medieval archaeological sites, not to mention some beautiful old churches. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and made me feel welcome. The room was clean and tidy, nothing fancy but everything worked like a charm. I will definitely return to the Pella next time I visit Thessaloniki.
