Nice place, good area and city, clean and lovely, internet was slow

Nice massage and swimming pool and sauna. Main restaurant had very slow service, many of the staff didn't understand English and I could't get their attention. TV and intenet in my room didn't work. No one came to repair them, despite my request.

The property is in the town of Bishftou. Its a cleaner city than addis and less congested. People are friendly including the staff at kirfut. I had the lake view which is beautiful and went kayaking immediately. The staff are helpful and accommodating. The room are a bit unkept but you can request housekeeping. They have pool, sauna, steam and massage. Also hair salon on location.

Nothing worked. I had an appointment scheduled for the steam room, but when I arrived on time, no one was there. And when someone finally came, it was out of order. The jacuzzi was not clean and it was cold and not working. The pool was ice cold and didnt have any heat. The cleaning crew took a full glass of wine and a double glass of Johnny Walker and dumped it. When we asked for it to be replaced, they made a huge ordeal bringing in 5 different people to speak with us over the course of 2 hours to get it resolved. Lastly, our phone in the room didnt work in our room and we repeatedly asked for it to be fixed. No one came after 2 days of stay. And finally the WIFI didn't work either.

A great way to escape the noise of Addis. Good selection of delicious food and the resort restaurant prices were not outrageously expensive. Room was large and very comfy. The fireplace is an interesting feature - wasn't expecting that. Great location for relaxing because there isn't anything else to do - just hang out and relax. Sure, the resort offers some activities if you feel the need to do something. Spa was very nice as well.

The grounds were remarkable and the view astounding; however, the accommodations were lacking. I was awakened in the night to hear what I believe to be a rodent running around in our room. I heard claws on the tile floor, moving from one side of the room to the other. In the morning, I found rodent poop on the bed next to my daughter's pillow. It was a turn off. Granted, the rooms are set up for more open-air living if you choose, but this was a little too rustic for me. Additionally, the shower did not have hot water (I am unsure if that was the norm or if ours was just not working) and the drain did not drain well, so I was left standing in a pool of cold water at the end of my cold shower. We shared our concerns with the front desk and asked to cancel the remainder of our reservation. They offered to switch us to a different room, but at that point we just wanted to be done.

Our time at the Kuriftu Resort was very good. The room was spacious and clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful.. Food was good. Location was excellent.

You will need at least 4 days to enjoy what this resort offers.love love the sound of the birds early morning,the massage,the campfire by your room,the food is delicious.The staff are professionals and polite.Love everything about this hotel.

The resort and rooms are beautiful from flowers, landscaping, lighting, wall pictures, bed and rest of furniture. It was all wonderfully done. The service was good, food was excellent and massage was good. The only issue with service was check in and check out process was a little slow. The biggest negative was the water pressure. The second night our water wasn't working at all and couldn't even flush toilets. The next morning water was working again but it was still tough to take shower because of low water pressure. I have no idea how they are going to add a water park there with water pressure issues. We went kayaking on lake and saw a lot of water bottles floating on water. As clean as they ground, they should do better about keeping water bottles from lake.
