Came here for a night after spending a wonderful night in Kendwa, feeling perfectly fine. Decided to give their restaurant a try, which ended up being a mistake. Ordered the ‘Zanzibari Curry’ per the waitress’ recommendation. Few hours later was on my knees most of the evening vomiting from apparent food poisoning. Pretty much ruined my stay. The hot water and A/c were much below what I expected from a place at this price point. Room did have a wonderful view, since I booked an oceanside room. Though not the hotel’s fault, I was unable to enjoy sitting out for long since every passing by beach boy kept trying to sell me drugs to the point where it got ridiculous and I had to retreat back into my room. Perhaps the hotel ought to invest some resources in keeping their part of the beach free from these pests. Nice pool though and the staff were generally nice.

The view is stunning and the property itself is wonderful. We have been before and loved it. However something has changed. Now, the staff is absolutely awful/cold and rude and the service is horrendous. We asked for a manager on 3 different occasions and never were able to speak to one, always a different excuse. The costumers come last. We’d love to visit again for the location and atmosphere, but we will not return due to the horrible service and food.

Amazing location. Clean rooms. Big swimming pool with plenty chairs although they do get booked out early in the day. Easy beach access great for swimming.

The location is great. It’s convenient and very well priced. Would prefer split system air conditioning and a kettle and cups

Overall we had a good stay. Rooms were fine, very close to the beach and everything in Nungwi. They overcharged for pick up from the airport and day excursions but have decent dollar exchange rate. Good place for families looking for a place for the kids to play in the pool. Go elsewhere for food.

The property is a great beach front stay. The rooms were pretty basic, but had a good working ceiling fan, AC, and fridge. The extra bed was unnecessary and should be removed from the ST rooms. It makes it difficult to walk through the balcony doorway. Rooms are very clean though. The pool area is very nice and refreshing. Two ways to access the beach during lower tide times via stairs. At high tide there is no beach, but it's just a short walk to the main beach which is good in all tides. The breakfast was just serviceable, but has a great view! The restaurant (Fat Fish) is quite overpriced, but not bad. Great shisha! Staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The beach is one of the best we've ever been to. You can walk clear to Kendwa at low tide, but be mindful that you could get stuck at high tide.

Great location near the main restaurants and beaches in Nungwi.

Great location on a wonderful beach. Gorgeous pool. Staff helpful. Food in restaurant was Ok, not fabulous. Check when you reserve as to whether price includes breakfast. 10$US per person otherwise, buffet was adequate, most alternative restaurants not open til later. Our air conditioner was substandard (we should have complained but just didn't get to it.
