Great place for a stop over, super comfy bed!

Fantastic place to stop over before an early flight! Probably not good for those who aren’t keen on enclosed spaces, but the mirrors help with a feeling of space. The bed was super comfortable and larger than a single twin bed but again, if you have mobility issues then the top bunk style set up probably won’t be the best choice for you. Overall a great stay, super close to check in desks (very handy if your flight gets cancelled!) and the check in staff were lovely, even providing cutlery for a snack bought in the airport 😁 Would definitely stay here again, just keep an eye out for fluctuating prices in order to bag a better bargain!

Great for short layovers.

I had a late arrival and early departure from Gatwick and found this to be great and very convenient compared to going out of the airport to another hotel. It's located right by the arrival area and is just a minute's walk from the check-in. The bed was comfortable and the room had a smart layout. Good shower. I was also surprised by just how quiet it was in the room. I'll be staying here again!

Good but room for improvement

Why was the bed so high up? It was on a high platform with no functionality underneath. It could easily have been a bed one meter lower. Why don’t Yotel charge by the hour instead of a ‘nightly rate’ That is old school thinking. I was only in the room for seven hours!

Recommended if you just need a room for the night.

The mattress, pillow and bedding were all of very good quality and very comfortable. This is a tiny, tiny room, but everything you need is there. Very convenient location right in the Gatwick airport. I found I could hear noises through the night, but no more than any regular hotel. Personal disclosure: I am sensitive to sound. They provide free water and tea and wifi. The price is reasonable. Front desk personnel were very courteous!

Very disappointed

An hour before check in I was sent an email saying that the hotel was closed for planned maintenance. Meaning I had to spend an hour sat on the floor of Gatwick airport (next to a socket) on the phone to hotels.com trying to get another room. Overall very frustrating, and took sleep away from an already very limited sleep window.

Good stay for mega early or late flights

Good overnight stay for our 6:30am flight out of Gatwick. The place is not particularly soundproof which is a bit annoying as it being at the airport meant there were people going in and out at all times of the day. It would be nice if there was free water bottles offered for the night as you cannot drink the tap water

Convenient Stay

I had a long layover and wanted to stay near the airport as my flight was early next day. It was very convenient staying there. Rooms were very clean. Wish rooms were a bit bigger.
