This is a lovely guest house with very welcoming hosts. The rooms are nicely appointed and the hosts go to great pains to give you lots of useful information on local facilities and activities. Breakfast is really good with some very tasty, locally sourced, ingredients. Overall, a lovely place to stay when in Brecon.

Very comfortable

By far one of the most comfortable and friendly places my wife and I have stayed in. David and Kathleen made us feel so welcome and gave lots of information which made our trip much more enjoyable. Their food and drink recommendations were on point! The hotel itself is a very charming and clean place to stay and we will definitely visit again if in South Wales

Amazing!

A truly lovely stay from start to finish. Convenient location and on-site parking, exceptionally clean room, modern bathroom, comfy bed, delicious breakfast and David might just be the nicest guy in Wales who also gives great recommendations. Wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Relaxing, enjoyable stay

Highly recommended

We are regulars in Brecon and have often walked past here. What a great guest house and first class welcome and stay. Katheleen and David couldn't do enough for us (and the other guests), very helpful in local knowledge. the Grange is ideally situated for Brecon town centre, two minute walk, the canal, and local area. First class stay.

Great gem in the heart of Brecon

We had an amazing stay in Brecon. We had a warm welcome and the owners were very knowledgeable about Brecon town and the surrounding Beacons park. Our room was clean, spacious and well provisoned. We had a bath tub with overhead shower which was great after a day of walking. Breakfast was really good with the service at a good pace so we were never waiting for anything but didn't feel rushed. Parking to the rear was big enough for our estate car and felt secure. The property is conveniently located from Brecon town centre which has a large selection of shops, restaurants and places of interest and not too far from the canal for the Brecon Basin work. This made it easy for us to change our plans if the weather wasn't so good or if we needed to get supplies for walking. We would highly recommend and would stay here again.

Couldnt reccomened enough!!

Couldnt reccomend enough!! It was spotless. Nothing was too much trouble - the owners even deocrated our room with balloons as i told them it was my partners birthday (free of charge) The breakfast was delicious and locally sourced! We got offered refills with our fresh juice and tea and coffee numerous times. The wifi worked for both our mobile phones and my childrens ipads and it was extremely quick. The owners were absolutely lovely and extremely welcoming. Weve never been to the area before and the owners were reccomending restaurants to what cuisine we wanted. Provided us with maps. Answered any questions we had! Free parking in their car park.

Fantastic little gem.....

We have just returned from a stay at The Grange. What a fantastic place to stay - clean, comfortable, welcoming, friendly and a perfect location. David and Kathleen were the perfect hosts, the time they spent navigating us around the town was fabulous, so knowledgable about the area. Our room was huge and extremely comfortable, the finishing touches are just wonderful. Breakfast was plentiful and scrumptuous and absolutely nothing was too much trouble. Thank you David and Kathleen, our much needed break was perfect thanks to you both. We will definately be back, sorry about that hehehehe.
