Disclaimer: My fiancé and I have stayed at Breathless in Cancun and have never had any of the issues I am about to mention. Upon check in we were told that we did not book with Breathless, we booked at Secrets. We were also told that we did not book for All inclusive but instead a “breakfast plan”. This is where the issues began! We showed our confirmation and it stated Breathless but was booked under a breakfast plan. Instead of being apologetic due to miscommunication between themselves and Expedia , they tried to make it seems as if it was our fault. We stood at the desk for almost an hour just to be told we have to pay an additional $700 on top of what we already paid because the system made a mistake on our reservation. Claire the director of rooms told us that we would get a letter to show to Expedia acknowledging the issues so we could be refunded but that never happened. Of course she ducked and dodged us and we did not receive our letter or any resolution. The desk clerk and manager were extremely rude and they should not work in customer service. On top of that room services was disgusting, the rooms were old and need renovation, restaurants were advertised as open but were closed without notifying guests, Breathless has like 3 places to choose from to eat at so don’t waste your time or money ..their “parties” or activities are a joke and no one shows up. Choose another brand!!

The Beach was perfect , the food and resort was fantastic and our favourite server at Culinaria Olivia gave us great advice and helped make our vacation perfect !

Excellent pools, views and gardens. Really liked roof top pool area, nice views! Great to have access to adjoining resorts to access the ocean and other amenities.

I like the technology, however dis not like the actions with the extended check out. There should be better accommodation when residents need extended check out.

My trip was on point, on a scale of 1 to 20 this resort was a 20, I could not ask for a better resort, the grounds were on point, the room was on point, the food was on point, the staff was friendly, helpful, this is the place to stay.

The "party" was pretty lame. Mostly a couples retreat. Not recommended for singles.

Fantastic hotel, great amenities and friendly staff. Only criticism would be the considerable delay on check-in and attitude of FOH staff at the spa (masseuse was great).

The food wasn’t the best got sick after the first day and you have to go over to secrets to have more food options. But then at some places the food tasted like meals that are frozen and then cooked. I think it would have been better to stay at secrets since everything is on that side. The staff didn’t really show us around or explain much when we got there. We had to look through an iPad to figure out what activities the hotel offered and to try and figure how to get around. Which we didn’t know in the first day till we talked to other people staying at the resort.
