Highly recommended

You need to manage your expectations with respect to accomodations when visiting El Nido as the town is still "relatively " less touristy and developed place compared to other famous spots. Having said this, Mansion Buenavista is 10 out of 10. Beeakfast was simple yet very nice, Owner Noud and the rest of the staffs were helpful and friendly in every way that they made us feel like we were staying at a relative's place. Noud helped us arrange tours, helped with eveything during our stay and even walked us out to grab a tricycle during our check out. Hotel has a very nice view from the balcony as well as from the restaurant, is far enough to be quiet and peaceful from the town during the night yet close enough for you to walk to the town should you wish to visit the main part or the town anytime. Can't really say anything negative about the hotel. I would definitely stay at this place again.

The restaurant is a hidden gem. Amazing delicious food. Staff is super helpful. The only thing I did not like was the weather during my stay. Please check weather reports before staying. They cancel all tours on rainy days.

Great experience

The hotel and staff is amazing, great food and really helpful frontdesk. The area is better to stay than El Nido.

I have to base this review without visiting the hotel due to extreme bad weather grounding all flights in Coron & El Nido. To be clear i have not been to the hotel, so I cannot review this part. I leave the negative review due to no refund being offered for our stay as it was clearly beyond our control reaching the destination. I kept the hotel informed at all times and requested a refund which was sadly denied. I understand this is their right but EVERY other hotel and airline understood our dilemma and refunded the charges for commitments we couldn’t make when they didn't have to. This has obviously helped us with the financial predicament we are in but Last Frontier cannot do this which is s real shame and has left us severely out of pocket due to extra incurred costs within Coron.

Wonderful resort

It's a nice cozy resort. I would recommend everyone to come here. Everything was pleasant from staff to the facilities of the resort. One think I would like the resort to improve on is the beach area and the couches near the pool.

Last Frontier was very accommodating and while the power did go out one night (on and off) the staff, location and customer service all made up for it. Property was always clean and staff was always ready to help when needed. Would stay here again.

This resort was a five minute motorbike ride away from the hustle and bustle of El Nido. As such, it was quiet and peaceful. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The food at the resort was limited but very good. The pool was clean and the pool area was also comfortable and welcoming. The staff were friendly and were always willing to help with any of our needs. There is a safe in the room to keep your passport and other valuables. The place felt secure and safe in the evening as well, with a security guard on the property. overall a great stay.

We stayed here for three nights, and highly recommend it. We particularly appreciated the friendly staff, the restaurant and sitting by the picturesque pool area. This location was away from the hustle and bustle of the main town, although only a short tricycle ride away.

A nice stay

Overall my time here was an enjoyable time. We were originally only going to be staying here just on Saturday but we ended up staying Sunday night as well. We had asked if we could pay the extra for the deluxe bedroom thinking there would be a better layout/room/shower/etc, but to be honest, the room that we had had Saturday night was way better. But other than that, The Last Frontier was in a really good area, great sunset, good vibe, and the front desk was very helpful.
