Conveniently located, quiet city hotel

Friendly check in staff but had issue with cleanliness of bathroom (hairs) and bedding (hair on pillow) on Christmas Day and were offered another room, after inspection. We stayed there a few times before, as located conveniently opposite the station in the city but apparently they changed the housekeeping and even the lamps, remote and phone was dusty. On the plus side, the beds and bedding are lovely and you can get a good nights sleep, as very quiet.

Good, convenient hotel for a short stay

The hotel was pre-paid but when we asked for an early check-in we were charged an extra €20. The room is bare bones but satisfactory. Definitely not warm and fuzzy. There was no concierge on duty but the desk clerk was helpful. The hotels location across from the train station makes it a choice location

Well worth a stay

Very nice and reasonable hotel. Friendly staff. Lacks some basic features for a big hotel, like a pool; some things are a bit dated. Overall though very very comfortable beds, quiet, friendly staff. A very good 4 star.

Loved my quiet room, facing the back of the hotel. But I especially liked NOT having a bathtub, I love taking showers, much safer at the age of 80. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Nice hotel. But ask for room at back of hotel.

Really good hotel for price. Close to shops and train station. Very noisy at night in front rooms. People shouting and cars till all hours

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Happy to speak in English to accommodate my terrible German. It was a shame that the WiFi was not easily accessible.

The room which I booked was Superior and it was nothing like the Superior room which was booked last time. It was very small like a standard room. So this was the only disappointing part of the stay.

Very close to train station! Practically attached.

Came for only one night... super conveniently located less than a one minute walk to the train station! Wifi here is weak. I was surprised at that. The reception man wan not as nice as the reception when I checked out in the morning but, the stay was great and I will stay here again for sure!

Basic and poor customer service

Stayed at this hotel a few times. During my last stay, the weather got very warm. My room air conditioning didn’t work. My colleague who was also staying at the hotel didn’t have a working air conditioning. Had to uncomfortably sleep with the windows open a few times, which was a problem when the street cleaners came first thing in the morning. Had to report the fault a few times at the desk to have it fixed, first them made me feel like I didn’t know how to operate simple dials! Some of the female customer service at the reception lack how to treat customers to say the least. This place lacks the ambience for a relaxation outside the rooms. A basic place to stay.
