Don't stay here

This,was probably one of the worst places I have ever stayed. Old, rundown and very dirty. There was a pile of garbage outside our door and a rust hole in our bath. There was a leak from upstairs into our bedroom which I reported to the cleaner but she just smiled and left. The grass outside our door probably was not cut in months, the window in or bathroom was broken and there was no lock on the patio door and they call this a 4 star hotel!!!

Big disappointment comparing money for the service, gym and room very basic facilities not seen as 4/5 star service. Plus information about the meal services incorrect (crep service never available) nobody to talk to and get compensation instead. Hotel is overrated and not worth money asked. Poor selection of food. It was not all in but diet in. Also offered local alcohol instead proper rum and vodka. Animation team activities never seen untill night show which was great. Some staff moody and ruse except bright exceptions with excellence customer service and attitude; receptionist Teressa, bar tender at beach bar Gonzalo, main restaurant waiters- lady serving outside for dinner Yanda (sorry for the misspeling the names) thank you

Nice hotel

Very nice hotel and very good service! I had a problem with my room but the reception fixed the problem very fast ! Good food, good animation in the evening and a wonderful beach! Muchas Gracias!

This hotel exceeded my expectations by far. The check in process was extremely fast and kind. There was a pregnant woman in my party and we requested if they could give us 1 of our 2 rooms before 4pm (standard time) and they had it ready by 3pm. Food was really good and the variety of all meats was really surprising. The distance between the hotel and the beach is very short and all the activities were really good. I highly recommend it!

Simple and unpretentious with easy beach access

Ours was a short stay of 4 days at the end of a much longer tour of Cuba. We chose this hotel for its smaller size - just two storey blocks in a garden setting - and close proximity to a very fabulous beach. It exceeded our expectations. Food was plentiful and varied enough, with Mexican, Italian and Cuban food served in two restaurants outside the main buffet area. The room was clean and spacious ( does the odd cracked tile really matter?), lovely pool, nightly entertainment and endless cocktails if that’s what you want. Staff were friendly and largely helpful. The Beachfront was the lovlier for not being dominated by a massive hotel. It struck us as good value, unpretentious and perfectly adequate. Our only complaint would be that some of the ‘daily activities’, such as dance classes, didn’t materialise - perhaps because the excessive heat at the stated times would discourage people. All in all we enjoyed our stay very much.
