I would have rated the hotel much higher except twice we discovered money missing. The first time was when one of the bartenders broke a CUC$100 note for me (giving me back CUC$100 in smaller bills so I could tip him). I later discovered that he actually only gave me CUC$95 back--not the CUC$100 as expected. The second time was when CUC$25 disappeared from our room after it was cleaned.

The property needs serious updating. This may have been a 4 star at one point. That is not the case anymore. I would give it a 3 star at best. I know this is Cuba, but jeez. When we first got there, the hotel door cards did not work. We had to shower with cold water due to the hot water never working. Our room service did not come by not once during our stay. No one made our beds or organize anything while we were there. No new towels, etc. We did like the location of our room, we were in the far end. We enjoyed teh drinks at the Lobby bar. The guys there are great! The hotel staff all were great, witht he exception of our room service girl whom we never saw. Front desk staff was very nice, even security and Daniel all were nice. Food selection is minute, you get to select from three dishes for your main course, most in tomato sauce. The beaches however, took my breath away.

We enjoyed the beach and the beautiful island very much, but the hotel was not that impressive. Especially the food at the buffet restaurant was just boring. There is also an a la carte restaurant in the hotel, and one-time dinner per stay at this restaurant is included in the all-inclusive price for all the guests. This would have been a nice experience, but it was fully booked for the whole duration of our stay at the resort, so we ended up just going to the buffet restaurant everyday... Anyways, the beautiful beaches are the main attraction on the island and they don't disappoint you.

Muy buena estadía, hermoso lugar y atención. Volveríamos sin dudas.

Habitación grande pero el baño estaba muy viejo. La comida del buffet podría estar mejor, todo estaba frío. Personal poco atento y muy lento.

Siamo arrivati al Sol sperando di stare in un resort a quattro stelle vero e proprio... ed invece tutto deludente... specie l’accoglienza. La struttura è bella , e qualcuno come i camerieri e i ragazzi della animazione sono anche in gamba e gentili... ma nel complesso accoglienza zero, senza un sorriso, disguidi a non finire, pulizia sotto la sufficienza , stanze in condizioni pessime, lenzuola umide, rubinetti arrugginiti e via dicendo. Per non parlare del cibo... pieno di mosche e piccoli insetti... capisco che siamo nella natura ma se c’ è questo disagio in qualche modo occorre ovviare .. ad esempio prevedendo una struttura al chiuso. Le uniche cose decenti erano quelle preparate suo momento, come la pasta e le omelette... ma per il resto... davvero deludente!

Bom hotel, porém com funcionários pouco cordiais. Refeições boas, mas com falta de muitos produtos, por vezes acabavam os ingredientes das refeições, principalmente do lanche da tarde. Para se chegar nas praias mais bonitas deve-se pegar um transfer no valor de 5 euros por pessoa ida e volta, há alguns táxis coletivos em frente ao hotel que leva até a praia por 2 euros por pessoa o trecho.

This has been one of the worst experiences of my life... I will never go back to this place! and the reasons are: 1. The hotel is horrible and needs an immediate refit! 2. The food is simply the worst I've ever had in my entire life! 3. The resort amenities such! I could write much more... but I don't feel that they are worth my time. Therefor the only thing I can say is: Go somewhere else!

Reception lenta, camera spaziosa ma bagno un po' decadente con tende della doccia corte per cui ad ogni doccia il bagno si allagava. Il ristorante a buffet completamente aperto per cui si mangiava attorniati da mosce e zanzare da incubo, presenti anche sul cibo. Per il resto bell'ambiente con verde e piscine ben curate e bar numerosi e ben forniti

Pasamos unos días excelentes. lo que mas se destaco fue la atención de todo el personal, especialmente en los comedores, restaurant y bares.
