This resort is overpriced for what they actually provide. Breakfast was included but after the first morning (we paid extra to get a better breakfast) we ate at Be Tulum each morning thereafter. The room had a Nespresso machine but this was not complimentary - we found out on check out. The staff were pleasant. We would not stay again.

Super nice hotel, right on the beach, staff was amazing! At first it was weird to only contact them through WhatsApp but everything was prefect!

Cute, small hotel with a few opportunities

We enjoyed our stay at this cute and small hotel. Not a 4-star in my opinion. A few areas of improvements: 1. Parking: lot was across the street from hotel and half the time there was no space for us as they let workers park their cars there, too. Had to double park and leave key with security. 2. Beach: they only had 6 umbrellas in total and if you didn’t get there early you were out of luck. Same with beach towels - not enough and on two days we did not get any because they had run out 3. Restaurant: dinner menu is way overpriced and does not have a good selection. Also, the two times we ate there, they were out of the menu items we actually wanted to order. Twice at breakfast we were served cold (and probably old) coffee and it seemed to be a hassle asking for a simple second refill of coffee. 4. Noise: the hotel was getting work done at the terrace of the restaurant - not an issue in and of itself - but the hammering and sawing noise started at 7am every morning including on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. We heard another couple complain about that with management and they were told there’s nothing they can do about that.

This was an amazing, relaxing, gorgeous place to be. So different from the hustle of Cancun. We cannot wait to come back. Know that you cannot throw paper in the toilet - this was new for me. The grounds, service and staff were great; big shout out to Israel for helping with excursions, big shout out to Gregorio, Norberto and countless others for serving us with a smile, patience and efficiency. Overall I want this to stay a quiet, unknown place just for us but know it’s worth it and you should stay here!! Well done Chiringuito ❤️❤️

The staff were amazing and fully accommodating, the food was out of this world, and the hotel is in the perfect location. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to have a relaxing, Tulum experience.

We had the most incredible time at Chiringuito. After a long day of travel we arrived to a late dinner and had the restaurant to ourselves! We had the most incredible service and fish right off the boat (saw a video of the chef picking it). From there the service continued to be the best we had on our entire trip to Mexico or maybe ever. They were all such nice people and the food is the best around, seriously after we left and moved hotels due to avail we considered going back we missed the food and cocktails - the morning breakfast is nothing fancy but its all fresh and house made, different pastries daily, fruit, and amazing jams! Reading other reviews not sure what others are talking about, everyone that worked here spoke great english, no problems whatsoever. They have a DJ/live music on the beach sat/sun and the beach set up is the best, quieter area that down the road and you get to be closer to the ocean than a lot of other hotels (also means incredible star gazing at night). The front desk support was great, both nice but Isra happened to be there when we were planning our week and he hooked us up with great recs and offered to help us even after we had to move hotels. The location is great, not as loud or crowded but still walking to everything. Would def recommend to friends and go again! The rooms are clean, not many amenities and to be honest the beach is so nice we didn't use our private pool but it was simple, clean and cozy.

The rooms are very large and comfortable. We loved the included continental breakfast especially the service from Gregorio! Also the gentleman at the front desk, who was there every day was friendly and professional. Our only real complain was that the lightbulbs are very dim and it was almost impossible to read in the room. The road to the resort is a nightmare! It’s very dark walking at night and there are no sidewalks so bring a flashlight or use your cellphone so cars can see you. Every meal we ate, in the hotel or out was excellent. I especially like the smokehouse restaurant, very tasty, casual and inexpensive.
