I do not recommend this property. Our stay was terrible! The water from our room smelled awful that made the whole unit smell. We advised the property manager of the situation and they did not do a thing about it. Every employee we advised about the smell was already aware of the situation and did not do a thing about it either! The communication is awful too! Upon arrival the person that attended us was not able to find our room. We went from building to building trying to find our room. The amenities were awful too! No water bottles or extra towels were provided. The shower head was broken which made a mess of water when we would shower! Bed sheets were not clean either Never again in our life’s we will be booking here again!

We thought the complex was beautiful. They should provide a map to make it easier to learn where things are. We were upset that we were required to check in between 3-6pm causing us to miss out on activities during the day and then they were not ready for us to go in when we got there at 5:30. We had to wait over 30min. We entered the apartment and there was no water pressure in the shower. The hot water didn't seem to function properly but the kitchen had too much pressure and was broken so it squirted everywhere. We have videos to document. It was supposed to have a plunge pool but didn't. The TV didn't work and wasn't connected, we fixed it. The fan in the living room wouldn't work. There is an odd big piece of metal connecting the couch on the floor sticking out that is really painful when your foot finds it. Be careful. The space lacks basic cleaning supplies of any kind so be prepared, but there isn't a store nearby so you'll have to drive to get supplies. The neighborhood is lovely. But neighbors might be partying really really loud at 3am. We will not be staying again.

Anniversary Ruined - CALL TO CONFIRM ROOM

We had booked the Penthouse, 1 bedroom, Terrace, Resort View, 2 weeks prior to travelling to Tulum. A few nights before our scheduled stay, we had receive a text from Anah Suites asking if we would be needing any transportation to the hotel (this was a nice gesture from the hotel to follow up), not too long after we had received an email from Anah Suites Tulum - “We look forward to your stay at Anah Suites Tulum” stating we had reserved a One Bedroom Apartment Room Only. I had then texted them back inquiring if this is the same as what I had booked online. No answer until we checked into the hotel. Turns out they had a “system error” that was not showing the correct bookings and that the Penthouse had actually been booked out for the last 2 months. We’re still waiting on a refund from them currently.

This Is A LIE! Don’t Book!!!

The post says city center Tulum, IT IS NOT! It is 18 miles way from Tulum city and 2 miles from Akumal. You will be doing a lot of walking. It is over a half mile to the main road with no way to get there but walking. It is almost a mile to the club house. You will spend much of your time walking, paying for taxis or shoved into a city shuttle once you get to the main road. Expect to pay hundreds in transportation. It is easiest to walk the 2 miles to the beach otherwise you will be paying $30 for a taxi each way. They didn’t respond to any inquiries until the day before my stay. They couldn’t even find my reservation until then. When the city bus drops you off in Akumal, then the shuttle picks you up, then it drops you off out front. You will meet security guards that have no information about you, so expect to wait 20 minutes to get that cleared up and HOPEFULLY the property manager answers or you won’t get in. Once you do, have fun walking up to a mile with all your luggage! For me it was in the rain too! Want to cancel after booking?? Nah VRBO wants nothing to do with the properties provided by partners, you are STUCK with it. Even if you try to cancel right after. The maids will come once... they day after you check in. The rest of the stay you will watch trash and dishes pile up. Your towels are all you got, so be careful. The best part, be conservative with your ONE roll of toilet paper. Overall a complete waste of money and a. TERRIBLE experience. Never booking with VRBO again

Our 2 bedroom villa was beautiful and luxurious. A very relaxing and tranquil place to stay. The staff Roberto and Felipe were very helpful and professional. A true gem looking forward to coming back!

very clean and well-maintained property, but enitrely dependent on the Bahia Principe for food and drinking water. Doesn't have stove, fridge or microwave to cook own food

Place was very nice, clean, well kept and comfortable. Great amenities. No instruction for wifi, had to sign an inventory list before seeing the place and the list was incorrect on seversl lines.
