The staff were so friendly, they couldn’t do enough for you! Made the trip more enjoyable getting to talk to them and happy to ask questions and recommendations

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel and delighted with the upgrade to room with private pool. We only booked bed and breakfast which was the right choice as it lacks evening entertainment but there are plenty of restaurants a short walk away.

The facility is good, food is good, beach is good. It's good place to relax.

Family and I were delighted with Asterion Hotel during our holiday with great amenities and service. Reception staff, Spiros and Vaso, were friendly and helpful. All hotel rooms are actually suites, comprising a lounge, and a separate bedroom with king size bed. Our room's balcony view was nice, facing side gardens. The hotel's breakfast was delicious and of great variety. The restaurant's staff, Georgia and her colleagues were friendly and helpful with our baby's dietary needs. One day there was a Cretan folklore party with live music and dance group, who made us all dance and get into the groove of Cretan music and culture! A la carte restaurant's food was delicious and hearty with Cretan cusine delicacies. Swimming pool is of decent size with the pool bar offering nice low-price hearty snacks. There is also a playroom for little children. The hotel is in front of the sea; watch out for the days with big sea waves. The hotel has a mini market with low prices. My only complaint is that as I couldn't book with expedia an additional half-day for the last day of our stay,as our return flight was at night and hotel check-out was at 12:00, the hotel management could have put more effort to achieve this extra booking request. I had notified them months ago about this and their response was that only the last 2 days they would be able to reply to me and eventually their reply was negative. Overall, I would come back to Asterion as it has everything for a premium relaxing holiday.

The view from the balcony of the panorama suite was astonishing (sea and swimming pool).Our private swimming pool and roof terrace was more than satisfying! Inside the room everything was very clean luxurious and comfortable!we ve never slept on a bed like this!!! The food at the buffet restaurant was delicious! Asterion hotel and suite 303 is definitely worth a visit!

4 day stay comfortable hotel with good customer service

It's was ok, the wouldn't call it a 5* experience or even 4* but it's a very good 3*

die 5 Sterne treffen nicht im Ansatz zu. Unsere "Suite" war ein heruntergekommenes Loch. Die Möbel schäbig, das Sofa voller Flecken, die Fugen im Bad und der Einbauküche schimmelig, die Mückennetze vor den Fenstern zerrissen. Da will man nicht hin. Die Fotos auf der Homepage: schwer nachvollziehbar, wo die gemacht wurden. Das ganze Hotel ist schmuddelig, dreckig, versifft. Als wir ankamen lagen auf den Treppenstufen zwei zerquetschte Weintrauben. Als wir 3 Tage später gingen, da lagen sie immer noch da. Der Pool ist eklig - also ich ging da nicht rein. Das Personal bemüht sich nicht, dass die Gäste sich wohl fühlen, sondern dass ihre "Rules" eingehalten werden. Z.B: Pooltücher gibts bloss 2 Mal die Woche neue. Nicht verhandelbar. Am Tage des Check-out baten wir um 30 Minuten Verspätung: Nein, geht nicht. Keine Frage: wie hat es ihnen gefallen und dergleichen.... Halbpension besteht aus fantasielosen Foodbars, Frühstück und Abendessen. Um 10:05 rannte das Personal der Foodbar entlang und räumte die Schöpfbestecke ein, damit sich keiner mehr was nehmen kann. Denn um 10:00 ist Schluss. Das Essen ist ungeniessbar. Wir sind nach einem ersten Versuch dann jeweils sonst wo essen gegangen; obwohl wir Halbpension bezahlt haben. Also ich weiss nicht, wie sich sowas 5 Stern Luxus Hotel nennen kann. Wer da hin geht ist selber schuld, oder so wie wir auf die trügerische Homepage rein gefallen. Nicht hingehen! Toxisch.

Très loin d'un 5 étoiles Nourriture vraiment pas bonne Literie pas du tout confortable Seul point positif, l'emplacement pour aller visiter les plus belles plages de l'île. Nous sommes resté que 2 jours

I'm afraid, NOT a real 5 star hotel (despite the pictures on hotels.com) !!! - Location: The hotel is situated in a calm area. There is nothing to do around. No nightlife. You will need a car to go to any place (restaurant, bars, shops, ...) in that area.The only attraction is the "normal" swimming pool. The beach is not extraordinary. - Room: The room is big but a bit old: the AC & the fridge were doing too much noise: Impossible to sleep. The bed was not at all comfortable. In the room, I was welcomed with a bottle of red wine. It was a nice token, but no water? I would rather have the water for free than a bottle of wine...(especially for people like me who doesn't drink alcohol) - Food: Quality was extremely poor. So, disappointed for a 5 star hotel!!! I was expecting to have some choices, at least for breakfast, some season fruits, ... For example: for the whole hotel, in terms of fruits, I only find 1 small plate of "old" & non-fresh watermelon. no other choice than unfresh fruit cut in small pieces. I'm not even talking about the croissants, coffee, ... - Services: People from the reception were nice and trying to help but all the facilities were against them.
