We always love staying at Zander K Hotel. The service is friendly, professional and very helpful. The rooms are clean, comfy and stylish. It's location is perfect for getting to the bus station, train station and the centre of Bergen. The restaurant has delicious food and great menu. We've stayed here numerous times and look forward to staying here again the in the future!

Hotel was very good for I had made a booking very early in the year before the covid pandemic was declared. Had to move date to next year and they were happy for me to do that. Great service in these circumstances - reliable and fair.

Great hotel, so near the sentrum, walking distance to everything

The Manager of the hotel hid behind the published booking policy rather than attempting to accommodate a guest who could not travel from the USA due to airline cancellations resulting from the Corona Virus Pandemic. Credit for future booking, partial return of payment, a cup of coffee during the next visit, or any other potential accommodation were specifically not offered after clearly communicating the situation. Hotels are my frequent home-away-from-home and I certainly sympathize how the financial crisis impacts the travel industry and specifically Zander K Hotel. Further, I would have given a rating of 4-5 had the hotel offered anything, in any form, But when they responded twice by reciting hotel-centric policies by email I had to rate this property a one star. Even something as simple as "I understand your travel plans have unexpectedly changed and we will attempt to help if you come back to Bergen" would have resulted in a four star rating. Sadly, this property went by the script and failed in the most basic form of customer service.

Bedroom was comfortable but not massive .. good size bathroom..enjoyed free coffee facilities in reception area.. very good breakfast and friendly staff. Ideal for a short stay.

The room was spotless and the breakfast was delicious! Zander K has an incredibly friendly staff, and we were very comfortable throughout our stay.

This was a really nice, modern architecturally different hotel in a great location. Room and bathroom very nice and very comfortable. Lobby lovely with a welcoming bar, comfy seats, coffee on tap and nice restaurant. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast included and nice selection. We ate one evening meal there and it was good. Location right by main train station (not noisy in hotel) and a very easy 10 minutes max walk to waterfront in central Bergen. Highly recommend this hotel.
