Perfect place for spending quality time with family surrounded by natural beauty!

Jeff’s property is phenomenal! We could not have asked for a better VT experience while we stayed there for our dear friends’ wedding. The weather and foliage was absolutely perfect. The home is clean and beautiful. AND who can forget the pygmy goats out back— Pan and Axel!

Jeff's historic barn house is a wonderful place to stay. The house is a destination unto itself, and has tremendous character. The property is only a few short minutes from town, but is surrounded by woods and mountains and feels like you are in the middle of nowhere. The house was impeccably clean, and the kitchen is well suited for cooking and eating in-house. The generous welcome basket of assorted Vermont products, including honey from the farm's own apiary was greatly appreciated. We loved the winter wonderland experience we had, and we also look forward to returning in other seasons to experience everything else Boorn Brook Farm has to offer. This is truly a getaway home for any season.

My wife, 9 year-old son, and I (and our puppy) had a wonderful week at Boorn Brook Farm. The converted barn was very comfortable and well-stocked, and the property itself is just stunning. The pool room and outdoor tennis court provided plenty of entertainment, and we really enjoyed the grill and firepit. The night sky was filled with stars, and there were s'mores in our bellies. What more could you want? We'd go back in a second.

My husband and two of my siblings (one who traveled from TN and had never been to VT) stayed in the cozy barn for a few nights for some quiet time together. This property met our expectations for a quintessential Vermont experience. The farm is secluded yet a short ride into town. The caretaker was delightful and attentive yet not intrusive.. Each item in the welcome basket of goodies left for us in the retro kitchen was delicious and well selected. Easy to dine in with all necessary utensils and great glassware. Loft beds and couch comfort was adequate. One piece of advice, confirm that the property owner has not booked any appointments for his prospective wedding clientele. We felt rushed because an appointment was made at 10:00, an hour before checkout. They roamed the property and then came inside at 10:30 while we were packing up. We met the resident goats who were friendly and so well kept!

Another amazing week at Boorn Brooke Farm. We stayed last year for the first time and enjoyed it so much that we had to come back again this summer. I'm glad we did. Jeff is an great host and very attentive. We hope to be back again.

My family and I had a wonderful stay. It is a very special place. Our kids loved the sweet goats, the pool table and the tennis courts. The barn was so unique and just magical. We would love to return again soon.

The place is so unique that you have to experience it for yourself. There is always something to discover from the furniture to the books to the loft to the pool table! The property is beautiful and our kids loved to visit the goats. The check in was easy and Jeff greeted us upon our arrival. Gayle, the property keeper left an amazing welcome basket! We were there for the big snowstorm and woke up to almost 3 feet of snow. It was out of a movie. Jeff and Gayle spent the morning clearing the snow and even dug our car out of the snow. What service! We could imagine how great this place is during the summer. We will certainly return! A true gem

Boorn Brook Farm & the Barn is as delightful and secluded as described. It is such a pleasure to just stay, relax and enjoy the property. While here I recommend Green Mountain Falconry (on site) for a most memorable activity as well. Jeff & Gayle were exceptionally hospitable. The renovated barn was beautiful and had the tech we're used to - but to truly enjoy Boorn Brook Farm is to come and unplug. Whether in the hot tub, by the fire pit, watching the goats play, strolling the trails, etc. you will surely feel the stress slip away and enjoy this get away. I highly recommend this property for it's "step back in time" New England charm & serenity, ideally secluded yet close to town location, and it is exceptionally clean and well maintained for an old Historic property.
