Very stylish hotel

Clean, comfortable, funky and interesting hotel with an industrial history. Great atmosphere and friendly service.

The best hotel in Sweden. Beds need more attention though. Two single mattress toppers on a double bed doesn’t work well for couples. Restaurant service is poor but bartenders are wizards and generally the staff are helpful.

Stayed at the Steam Hotel for one night and was very impressed with the building and the renovation that has been completed. The Hotel is an old industrial building with loads of character and amazing views over the harbour in Vasteras. Service was fantastic on the whole although breakfast was a bit disorganised due to the number of people. I would highly recommend this hotel for its clean and very cool interior and plan to take my family here next summer. The area around the hotel is still being developed although this will be completed soon enough. Its a little further from the centre of town but well worth the adding walk.

It was very good! Amazing hotel and decor. The breakfast buffe had so much to chose from. Book spa and restaurant ahead of time because it was full the day we came so we had to spa the morning of our departure!

It's old factory building renovated to hotel and it looks fantastic. Atmosphere, service etc. No complains at all.

Amazingly cool space ! Awesome interior decor and arrangements. Great vibe. Fantastic breakfast. Small rooms. Central air conditioning system did not allow in-room adjustments. The staff seemed a bit rushed as the hotel was very crowded and busy. Cleanliness could be improved. Major construction going on around the hotel at this time. The water and marina views are quite wonderful but it is a bit of a hike to go anywhere on foot.

Very nice hotel in an old Power Plant. Interior design felt quite lavish and cosy while still keeping an old industrial feeling. Minus: Directions to the reception from the parking lot that the GPS led me to was poor. The hotel is in the same building as an indoor water park, where I first entered. Ended up entering the hotel via the downstairs restaurant from outside. No signs anywhere that the entrance to the hotel reception was around the corner. Check-in time is 3 p.m. Arrived a little before 4 p.m. The line to take one of the three elevators up to our room was probably 5-10 minutes long with approx. 30 people in line. This together with confusion to find the reception gave a poor first impression. Table during dinner in Chamberlain was right next to another table, as if we were in the same company. Plus: As mentioned, nice interior design. The SPA looked nice but I had failed to book ahead of time so could not use it. Great food (dinner) in the downstairs restaurant "Chamberlain". Also good breakfast (included). General: SPA is open (no privacy inside the spa), so if you are shy you might not enjoy walking around in swim wear for everyone to see. Heated pools all year round. Could definitely go again but this time book the SPA ahead of time. I think the Spa with sauna, heated pool and fireplace in the middle is most enjoyable during the winter. Not AS enjoyable during the hottest summer on record.

Steam hotel was very nice. The only thing I wish I knew was that you need to book packages if interested in the restaurant, spa or pool. We were lucky that we were able to get pool time as it was a heat wave in Sweden.

Amazing hotel with friendly staff. Room was great and spa was cozy. Nice restaurant and bar.
