Location was very good and the room had a good view of the infinity pool and was close to everything. Cleanliness, food and wait staff were also very good, helpful and friendly. There were people constantly cleaning the grounds, rooms, etc. Promotion of this hotel in North America would be very beneficial. I thought the front desk personnel could be more proactive, helpful and engaging. Lucy at Kole Kole was wonderful and very willing to assist. It was hard to get a proper email response regarding airport transfer from Mombasa Airport. I had to resort to phoning from Nairobi.

I was pleased with this hotel but was expecting it to be slightly better. Wi-fi was only ok. Some staff could have been a little more accommodating towards our children.

Water in the bathroom had a foul smell as they use borehole water. Towels also had bad smell. Food was good. Names of the food items should be properly translated.

Great place for families with small kids!

Had a great time at the hotel. Food was good, drinks plentiful. There was entertainment during the day and in the evenings. The pools are lovely and there are enough pool loungers for everyone to get a spot. The only thing I had a problem with was the air conditioning not functioning properly despite having reported it. It did not cool the room adequately, was noisy and leaked water all over the room floor. Other than that I was happy. There is an airport not far from the hotel, rather fly from Nairobi direct to this airport than go through Mombasa as you will need to take a ferry if coming from MIA and depending on traffic can hold you up in the heat. I would certainly go back one day.

The resident monkeys were great and the rooms were really nice as was the food

We stayed for a week after a safari. The hotel is in a lovely spot overlooking an amazing stretch of beach and is great for a relaxing stay. There are actually three different hotels in one complex so you can use pools and restaurants from all of them. We only used the Baobab and Maridadi facilities but there is a third option too. Service was great, there is plenty of choice in the restaurants and several bars. I used the gym as well as running the beach and also the spa which was lovely. Everything was clean and well-maintained and the room was comfy.
