The room was thoughtfully designed and comfortable to live in. Location of this hotel was very good, near the Central station and ideal for travelling to other cities in Belgium.

Guaranteed check in time is 3PM however we were not able to check into our room until nearly 3:30. After a long day of travel, this was very annoying.

Great central hotel

We hadn’t booked breakfast before we arrived. On the first day we had breakfast and we were going to book again but when we asked how much it was were told €17 each so thought that was too much and went to the cafe on the corner outside instead. A bit annoyed to then find out on our invoice after four days that breakfast was actually €12.50 each which was more reasonable. Otherwise the staff were lovely and the hotel clean and warm and great location next to metro.

The air conditioning on the 4th floor was not working which meant that both rooms that we had were hot and made falling asleep very difficult. When asked to switch rooms we were told that the hotel was fully booked. For our inconvenience they gave us a card for a free draft been and tapas, which was an insult. If I’m ever in Antwerp, I will stand outside of this hotel and warm them before going in.

This is a lovely hotel. I chose it for the close proximity to the main station, so that I could be unburdened of my suitcase quickly. However, I was thrilled to find that it was stylish and very comfortable, with fantastically friendly and helpful staff. As I was only staying for one night at the end of a week in Belgium I opted for a room with a balcony, and if you are doing the same I recommend asking for 702 as it is at the corner and has nice views to the north as well as over the square in front. Breakfast was very nice, the room was delightful and filled with amusing little touches, and all in all I was very pleased with my choice of hotel.

Conveniently located and clean hotel. But very loud, especially rooms towards the main square. Sometimes I had the feeling that the window must be open to hear so much noise but this wasn’t the case. Couldn’t sleep much st night.

My wife and I stayed at the Indigo for four nights. PROS: Close to Antwerp Centraal Station, good wi-fi, occasionally helpful staff. CONS: small rooms, poor lighting in rooms (basically light bulbs), dusty carpets, no chairs (only uncomfortable window seats with thin padding), necessary to ask staff on a daily basis if heat in room is desired (thermostat does not work for heat). Also, pricey for few amenities.
