The hotel is beautifully redone and the staff friendly and willing to help.However in a 4.5 star hotel I would expect ability to control the heating in the room. As it turned out - the main heating had not been turned on at all and at a certain point it became uncomfortably cold in the room. Freezing actually. In fact, the rooms were not heated despite the fact that heating had been turned on in the communal areas. Also we were astounded when on checking out we were asked to wait until the room could be checked before returning our deposit! I think that this hotel has great potential but if it wants to maintain international 4-5 star rating - these issues need to be seen to.

This is a beautiful hotel and will be my first choice for weekend getaway in Klaipėda.

Wonderful hotel in a perfect location, right at the harbor and close to old town. Service was excellent, so was the entire appearance of this hotel. Loved that we could park the car right in front of the hotel for free. The only disappointment was that the breakfast was not included in the room rate.

It is a small, boutique hotel. The rooms are a little funky but the bathroom, bed linens, etc are excellent. The breakfast is very good and the service is too. Location is excellent!

Beautiful hotel with wonderful and helpful staff. Clean and comfortable beds. Wonderful buffet breakfast with lots of options. Right by the water with access to the downtown and great restaurants. Would definitely visit again.

Great, comfortable hotel. Staff was courteous and helpful, and the breakfast was excellent. We really enjoyed our stay at Michaelson and would highly recommend it if you happen to be in Klaipeda.
