Loved the room we were in, it was beautiful and spacious and was interesting to look through the buildings history through photos in the book available.

Food and amenities were great but the stairs were difficult with an injured knee. Suggest advising guests if the stairs. Staff were first class all round

Our stay was wonderful. Room was clean and very tidy. Was pleasantly surprised with the bed being very comfortable, not like other hotels where the beds are hard or extra soft. Will be happy to stay again.

Stayed one night before our flight. The hotel is the oldest operating hotel in Western Australia and is very charming. The hotel is over the restaurant/pub so noise could be an issue. Also, because stairs are necessary to reach the rooms, it is not recommended for those with mobility issues. The bed was comfortable and the room had a refrigerator. My only (mild) complaint is the door to the bathroom - it is a sliding door that doesn't close fully, so privacy is an issue. That being said, I would still recommend this hotel for the walkable location to lovely Guildford and the convenience to the airport.
