Exquisite home away from home <3

I make a point of returning to this property whenever possible bc this place is like no other hotel! They usually let me choose a room (they even let you view them!) and every room is a suite - so spacious with exquisite furnishings like Persian rugs, heavy wood furniture, amazing bedding and plushest robes & towels. The kitchenette is so well stocked and with what’s around you within walking distance (Whole Foods, Target & Trader Joe’s), you can cook in OR walk to any of the eateries all around the UCLA campus. Yet, the location is at the edge of beautiful residential Westwood and I always love a morning walk that feels like I’m staying at my friend’s house rather than a hotel in the middle of largest city in California! Simply put, it is a perfect home away from home (much nicer than my own!?)!!! It’s a hidden gem for me and I hope it stays that way!

This was my third stay at this property. It's at a great location and offers spacious suites with great amenities (fridge, coffee machine, dishwasher, washer/dryer, etc.) which are perfect for longer stays. The location and the facility shows the decent capex investment made; however, they are possibly not as generous with their opex. It seems like the hotel operates with the least amount of staff possible. While all those who work there are extremely helpful and nice, they cannot provide a real 4 star experience. We had housekeeping issues on our first stay there which were addressed promptly when we complained. Our second stay there, during the second summer of the pandemic, was pleasantly surprising. That's why we chose the property again this time. Unfortunately, they had serious housekeeping staff issues again... this time they could not quite address to my satisfaction. They were visibly understaffed. So, with the location and the convenience, I would still consider staying there again... if only I could find out, in advance, that they have the staff to provide a real 4 star experience, as promised on these hotel info pages.

I loved everything about the property and will most probably come back…..BUT, my reservation was for a Superior Studio Suite with 1 KING Bed…and we did not get a room with a King bed. The pillows were not that great either. All else, was 5 stars all the way!!!

First the pros-the property is beautiful and the rooms are spacious and lovely. Located in a great area within walking distance to restaurants. Now the cons- they have wooden doors that slam like a gunshot all night and day. The hard tile hallways echo and it’s very loud. The hotel can’t control the guests that loudly greet each other with no consideration to anyone trying to sleep. We were in 203 which is near the elevator which may have made it louder. Also the dishwasher was broken with dirty dishes inside. Despite requesting daily housekeeping, no one ever came to clean during our four night stay. I want to love this hotel as it’s beautiful but they have to find a way to stop the slamming doors and possibly add some carpet runners to absorb sound.

Beautiful hotel! Rooms are well appointed, spacious, and the bed was so comfortable. A gem in the Westwood area. Loved the bath products too. Make sure to check out the roof deck. Highly recommend.

This hotel was fabulous! The employees were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The location is awesome … lots of shops, cafes, restaurants right out the front door. It’s also within walking distance to the UCLA campus. I will definitely be staying there again!
