The property is essentially an extensive and lush tropical garden walled off from the noise and dust of the town. Comfortable rooms at the perimeter. We enjoyed sitting in the chairs on our terrace at the end of a pool and contemplating the greenery. The restaurant has a limited menu but served the best Mexican cuisine we had in two weeks in the country.

Lovely hotel in the village of Tulum. Clean and spacious rooms, the restaurant was not open for most of the time we were there, but there are many good food options within walking distance.

Beautiful, relaxing getaway

My husband and I loved our stay at the Coco Hacienda. We stayed for 6 nights. The service was exceptional. Jafet and Mari were knowledgeable, kind and extremely helpful in their recommendations. The grounds are beautiful and the room was spacious and immaculately clean. The hotel is on the end of the main street in Tulum pueblo, so it’s about a 20 min walk to the center of town. They also have sister resorts on the beach, so you can stay and use their beach facilities as well. We would love to return and recommend this hotel to any of our friends

Overall, this is a fantastic hotel. The property is ideallic and relaxing with two lovely pools, a good restaurant on site and many spots to relax in the shade or sun. Highly recommmend. A few things you need to know: -This is not close to the beach : getting to the beach zone requires bikes (best way and free rental at hotel!) or taxi. It’s a completely different vibe from the fancy Tulum beach area. Research beach clubs with day passes available if you want to spend time there and retreat to this hotel at night - that’s what we did! - Noise is an issue at most downtown hotels including this one. Hut roofs = soundproofing impossible and there are parties and clubs that are loud AF. This might be tricky with small kids.. we used ear plugs.
