The hotel could use some upgrades especially in the bathroom and the windows. Although the bathroom was clean, there was calcium buildup. Breakfast was good but the breakfast staff was not friendly. However the front desk staff was nice and helpful. Location near everything.

Awful service, very rude staff with no manners at all, I guess if you are not a foreign you are not considered at tourist. The lack of presence of a general manager can be seen everywhere and knowing a guest was trying to connect with her she never appear to have a decent conversation. Awful stay

We ran out of water in our room twice. What more can be said.

We were on the third floor and after dark if you left the room the hallway was completely black. Very dangerous. You had to walk all the way to the exit stairs in order for the light sensor to turn the lights on. Then you would have to walk back to your room to see the lock to lock the door. The bathroom could have been cleaner. The poles holding up the sink were dirty and I don't think that they scrub the toilet bowl below water level. The amenities were sparce and the towels were not changed daily. The toilet paper was not replenished.

The room was nice and the location is VERY convenient , but we decided to stay only one night instead of 3 because we felt we could get the same quality accommodations at a lower price. We ended up relocating to the Otro Lado Lodge on the extreme other end of Santa Teresa. It was really nice, but very out of the way. With an ATV it wasn't a problem, though.

Hotel was great and located on playa carmen which is still playa santa teresa. Walking distance to the beach. Great time great people enjoyed every minute I was here wish I stayed longer and thank you to the staff!

It was a nice hotel ,very clean and very Comfort rooms, breakfast was ok..

The hotel was a pricier option in the area but looked nice and felt nice once we got there. Very clean and well maintained. Not as many small amenities once we got in the room, like no lotion or little bottles of shampoo or conditioner, just more eco-friendly refills on the wall where you push to dispense shampoo and such. Loved having a balcony with an ocean and pool view. Breakfast was available buffet style and the staff was really so friendly and warm. Check in and checkout were easy. Bed was comfortable but squeaky, but the lounge chairs in and out of the room were stylish and relaxable.

I would definitely stay here again. seemed to be somewhat updated and tastefully decorated. Cold a/c. Nice pool and outdoor area. I had a room on the first floor overlooking the pool. They play music by the pool all day, but as soon as I shut the door, the room was quiet. The room is mostly tile, not wood, so there was no mildew smell that can happen in the tropics. Nice little things, like an extra chair, as well as a desk/chair, so there is somewhere else to sit other than the bed. There was also a tv, but I never turned it on. Also the room had a safe for valuables. I was booked at a surf camp at another hotel for the week and had to book Hotel Santa Teresa for my first night in town. The hotel I was going to after was twice as expensive but not as nice. It was older, so I missed Hotel Santa Teresa when I got to the next hotel. The best thing about hotel Santa Teresa is the location. It’s close to the beach and part of the center of town. So as a single woman traveler on my first night in Costa Rica I was able to safely walk to go out to dinner, as everything was right there. Highly recommend Product C restaurant, best fish taco ever (steps from the hotel) and The Bakery just across the street a little to the left.

The guy running the front desk was super friendly!! Staff overall was nice.
