Perfect setting, in heart of medieval Erice. The hotel is on a cobbled hill, one of many in this beautiful town. Our quadruple room was clean and roomy, with a small seating space. No mini fridge or kettle though. Breakfast was plentiful - no hot food, but lots of cold variety. Parking is nearby at a cost of €2 for the first hour and €1 each hour after that. We paid the hotel for a valet service though - for €10 a day they will park your car for you (after dropping you and your bags to the door) and then return it as you need it, which was much better value. Cable car is minutes from the hotel. The castle is about 10 minutes walk. All in all, a smashing town that can be seen in a day.

Nice spot in Erice

Staff was very welcoming, gave clear direction about parking & good recommendations for eating. Parking conveniently located about 100 yards from the hotel. Would have been nice to know ahead of time about parking so we did not have to try to navigate the small streets in town. Parking 10 euros for a week, no daily rate. Beautiful panoramic views from the dining area. Convenient for exploring the town; easy drive to other local areas to explore including Segesta, San Vito Lo Capo, & Trapani.

Nice hotel close to city gate. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is plentiful and served in a room that has a spectacular view. Many shops and restaurants nearby. Will stay again on a future visit.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Elimo. This is a simple but charming hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We arrived on a dark rainy night in Erice. The streets are very narrow and the staff helped us park our car in a safe place. We loved our stay there and Erice is wonderful!

Few rhings made rhis fo feom average to poor. Firstly self parking is metered by the hour and hotel was not willing to change a 10 euro note for coins which i reckon would be a frequent request. The tv in room the screen is smaller than my laptop. And awoke to no hot water. Tried ringing ng reception and restaurant at 715 amd no answer. On check out np apologiesand rje waiter flicked a swirch and said there.....howeverwe qwre already packed. Really badly organised and not welcoming for guests

Lovely hotel in Erice near main gate

Lovely hotel not far from main gate (entrance) to medieval town high above Trapani. We stayed 1 night only but walked the entire town in mist at night & in beautiful sunshine the next day. Nice small shops, very good restaursnts & great scenery of the sea & town below. Good signs to different churches & castle in town. Nice small and very green park near castle. We had room #101 with sea view & 2 levels (1 BR upstairs w. bathroom & foldout sofa downstairs). We left all our luggage in 2nd bedroom which worked out just fine. Hotel staff very helpful with suggestions, restaurants & location of spots like Maria Grammatico pastry shop (also known for its Sicilian Cooking School). Besides eating pastries and cookies, we bought a wonderful handwoven cotton table runner. Beautiful ceramics with unique designs can be found in town too. Parking for your rental car is a little complicated but worksble. We parked in a 2 hr. Paid spot near main entrance to town and rolled our luggage to hotel. Front desk staff then moved our car to a free parking area. When we left, they got our car & drove our car up to the hotel front door and helped us load our luggage for a reasonable fee. If you prefer, you can have hotel staff help with luggage to hotel —-when you arrive. Stay a night or 2 in Erice.

Best stay in Sicily

The owners and staff of this hotel are as good as it gets! The breakfast was wonderful, as was the hospitality and service. The recommendations for sightseeing and restaurants really personalized the experience for us.
