Love the hotel. Good location, very closed to Christmas markets and all tourist attractions. The service is also good, staffs are all helpful. Nice chocolate treat for Christmas period from the hotel. Nice breakfast as well. The hotel is valued for money. Recommended!

Location is excellent to get around on foot or street car. Could hear noise in the morning if facing street.

Perfectly placed hotel at a very reasonable rate , would recommend it

I was initially located in one of the front rooms, on the road with the trams and it is a little noisy. On the second night I was moved to one of the rear rooms and it was great, virtually no noise. I had a twin room which was a good size. It had a kitchenette (if you wanted saucepans you had to ask) plus seperate bathroom. Breakfast was nice. If you arrive after 10pm, you need to telephone another hotel and they will give you the passcode for a safety box to get your key. Hence, make sure you have a phone on you (local German number). Beds were a little soft (I like my bed firm).

Hotel room very spacious with large windows facing quiet yard behind hotel. Tram very close and you can walk about twenty minutes to train station or take tram. Breakfast very good and you can walk one block to take main avenue to old town as well as restaurants and shops. Staff very congenial. Only negative is an unpleasant section of city is rather close to the hotel but you can tram past or walk around vis avenue. Still a very nice hotel. Would not take kids.

Excellent stay only let down for me was no elevator but I did know that before

The property is newly renovated and close to city centre with good security.The staff are friendly and efficient,the rooms clean and large with kitchen area.The two ladies in the breakfast room provided a varied and well presented buffet breakfast.

The hotel provides a sense of clean from the second we walked in. The room, hallways and breakfast room were immaculate. The friendly service was another thing that will bring us back. All of the above actually overrides the lack of an elevator.

Lovely hotel, with spacious rooms and a great buffet breakfast. However, our 'Queen ' bed was just two single beds pushed together, and while this is not unusual, they were made up separately (with separate duvets!) and just moved apart during the night, creating an uncomfortable gap!! Not ideal.
