Compared to the hotels around the area, this was the nicest and least crowded in this COVID era (that matters). Though a little more expensive it was worth it

Great hotel, only criticism is that patrons were not wearing masks in the hotel.

Extremely nice room with 2 televisions and a spacious couch. The breakfast was more than others especially with COVID. We enjoyed it and would definitely stay here again if we come to this area.

Fantastic! Very clean, staff was nice. Breakfast was usual, especially as Covid restrictions but staff was great about it. I had a minor issue (not even worth stating), but what was remarkable was I got an email from the manager apologizing and stating he was looking into it. Would definitely go back, and I don't say this about every hotel.

Quite mixed review. Hotel was hosting a group that decided to get together, In the eating area where they serve breakfast just off the lobby, to watch a NBA playoff game. Despite clear signage that stated VA and local government masking requirements in public area only 1 or 2 of the nearly 20 people wore masks and no one was practicing social distancing. The hotel’s staff did not make any noticeable attempt to require the group to mask or to disband the group. We were very concerned that the area was going to be used for eating purposes in less than 8 hours given that the science clearly shows that nanoparticles can remain suspended for long period of time in the air. This caused us to forego the breakfast offered by the hotel. This was the 14th hotel/lodge we stayed in on a trip cross country and back in the past month and the ONLY property where we experienced any significant number of guests flouting the masking rules and the ONLY one where social distancing was not observed by a number of guests. Otherwise it was 9 of 10 property, but our health safety experience was a 0 of 10 outside the cleaning etc for the rooms.

Clean, quiet, and close to all the fun the area has to offer. Just watch the door in your room they do not shut on their own.

The walls must be paper thin. No noise blocking. And the breakfast is no longer a breakfast. Maybe just a continental breakfast. For a bagel.

I stopped here as a halfway point on my way home from dropping my son at college. Was not expecting much, and was pleasantly surprised! VERY clean room....everything felt new. Room was spacious (I somehow ended up in an accessible room). Front desk staff was friendly. COVID restrictions were in place and I felt very safe. Will definitely stay again if travelling that way!
