Awesome place

This place is a hidden gem. Not only do the rooms have queen size bunk beds they have an awesome water slide at the pool, which by the way is heated to 80 degrees all the time. The rooms were big, comfortable and clean. We had an amazing stay.

Comfortable Stay

Comfortable room for our family of 7! This is a nice retro motel that was updated, and in very good condition. This motel also earns extra bonus points for letting me know ahead of time that I would need an timed entry pass to get into Arches

Great location when traveling with kids

This motel was a great place to stay when traveling with several kids. A lot of hotels limit the number of people allowed in the room to 4 or 5, which is tricky for my sister, who has 6 kids of her own. At Expedition Lodge, we were able to rent a large room for us to stay in together for a reasonable rate. The swimming pool with slide was a huge hit. The pool was a little dirty, which didn't bother the kids at all. I suspect someone just needed to empty the filter. The room itself was comfortable and clean. The bathroom looked a little run-down, but not dirty. The breakfast in the morning was good with a good selection. Overall, it was a great experience and we would definitely stay there again.

Excellent response, awesome beds and space/ pool

I am going to have to give this place a great review, despite getting placed in a not so clean room. I went down to the desk and without question, only apology was given a new room right away. Breakfast was awesome, and refilled constantly. The attendants were all so nice. The rooms were huge and there was ample beds for a family of 6. The beds were very comfortable. I do believe there needs to be a bit more attendance to the parts of the room like the night stands, under night stands and behind the toilets, because in the first room i saw human and dog hair, sweeping in general, and cleanliness ( red crumbs and peanut skins) on and between (hair) bed sheets, which is why I complained initially. Nonetheless the property attendants gave me a new room quick and it did not have the same issues, it was way cleaner. Hopefully this was a fluke, we were traveling with two other families and none of their rooms had these issues. The pool

We had a great time at this motel. It was very clean, in a good location and the pool with slide was a lot of fun. We will definitely stay here again the next time in Moab

Do not stay here

Upon arriving in the room it had initial clean appearance…. But that quickly changed. I noticed trash left behind from the previous visitors on the counter and sticky notes on the door that they left themselves. The plumbing was scary bad. The toilet kept backing up as well as the sink. The ac unit made not stop scratching and banging noises that my kids didn’t sleep the entire trip. They refuse any clean up service for the duration of your stay. I understand Covid guidelines but we were expected to use the same towel for the duration of our stay. We all felt more dirty after drying off then we did before showering. Outside of the room, the main reason why my kids wanted to stay here - the pool and water slide was disgusting. There was visible trash and bugs clouding the water. A couple of the visitors even asked the front desk for a net offering to clean it out themselves with which they simply responded “we don’t have one”. Huge disappointment - will not be back.
