This place has a lot of potential. However, the flaws still make this not really worthwhile. Make sure you don't overpay to stay here. The beach is amazing and the localization of the place is great. The rooms are very dated and most things are only sort of working. Don't keep your hopes up for something great. We stayed two nights and I'm glad it wasn't longer. They could however refresh this place and make it into a super nice place. It has the platform to do so, and the location is adorable.

Great location, right on the beach. $47 pandemic price can't be beat. Staff friendly & helpful. Clean, comfortable and somewhat stylish, but showing its age around the edges.

The location is on the beach... right next to a beach bar and massage hut. The water national park in in front of the hotel. The rooms are clean and sealed and the beds are comfortable. Recommend getting a balcony. The staff are super friendly and happy to assist with anything. This is a hidden gem and will be coming back

Great service! But pictures didn’t match room. Tv didn’t work WiFi didn’t work in our room and when I mentioned it nothing happened. It appears to be an older property with an atempt of a make over to market nicer than what it really is. Went part way on a remodel and stopped???

Front desk staff were nice and accommodating. Most people don’t wear masks around but will otherwise keep their distance. The room was comfortable but it’s easy to hear noises from other guests. TV didn’t work for Netflix or local channels, WiFi was great, and the breakfast was good. Had a problem with the toilet and it was fixed very promptly. The hotel is right in front of the area I had done short and night dives in so that was convenient and it was super close to the doc for getting on the boat for scuba. I’d go back for another scuba trip. Reasonable prices and close to everything. Nothing fancy but everyone was great.

Very clean no frills hotel. Great beach front location and friendly staff. Walkable to several restaurants and close to town center.

We stayed in this hotel during the pandemic and after we got engaged in Mexico. When we arrived the power was out after a storm but was fixed later that night. There are some quirks (lamp without light bulbs, no refrigerator in some rooms) but we had three rooms during our stay, because we kept deciding to stay more days! The beach is amazing, the people are very sweet and helpful, and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again, quirks or no quirks!

Needs update. Dirty walls. Dirty showers.
