Lovely hotel

Great location. The Riad is located near the edge of the medina. We took the Supertour bus from Marrakech. The drop off was only a 10min walk from the Riad. The room was well decorated and comfortable. We roof top was amazing and had a hot tub. Since we were there in the winter we were not able to take advantage of it. We would definitely stay at the Riad Chbanate again.

An easy walk from Supratour bus stop, this gorgeous riad was my favorite stay in Morocco. The painted ceilings, windows, and fabulous marble bathtub in our Mauresque Suite felt like a page from the Arabian Nights. The room was spotless and meticulously cleaned each day. A hot tub on the rooftop terrace outside our door was a welcome place to enjoy sunshine despite the cool temperature. Best of all, the staff is exceptionally warm and professional, and breakfasts were excellent as was our welcoming dinner on the first night. Greggi and Hicham made excellent local restaurant suggestions and offered restorative tea when I felt a bit under the weather. Truly an oasis of hospitality!

The staff was super friendly and helpful with our travels. They even upgraded us to a beautiful room because we mentioned it was our honeymoon. Of the 6 places we stayed in Morocco we agreed this was our favourite. Book it!

Riad Chbanate is a charming place to stay. It is a in a quiet street offering a welcome break from the thrum of the tourist areas. Each room is uniquely decorated and there are lovely rooftop terraces to relax or read a book. The courtyard is attractive as well. Staff is very helpful and willing to assist with whatever you may need.

We spent 2 wks in morocco, and Riad Chbanatewas by far our favorite accommodation! The staff was insanely helpful - excellent suggestions, organized an authentic hamman experience with one of their staff (one of the highlights of our trip!) and even offered to help us organize plans once we left the riad. The riad itself was absolutely stunning. The rooms are each uniquely and differently styled - warm, cozy atmosphere with impeccable decor. Took a long bath amongst rose petals the night we arrived :). Excellent location and easy to get to from the bus station. I would highly recommend Riad Chbanate - can’t say enough great words about it!

Had a wonderful stay. The staff was incredibly helpful, the room was lovely, a great roof terrace and concurrent location.

Our experience at Riad Chbanate was truly incredible. The place itself was stunning and comfortable, the service was impeccable (and very genuine/personal), and its location allowed us to enjoy Essaouira without being right in the middle of the busy area of the Medina, but still able to walk there in a couple minutes. We were there for a portion of our honeymoon and the staff of Riad Chbanate offered some special touches to make it even better than we imagined. They also offered us wonderful intel about where to eat and shop, and generally helped to make our brief stay in Essaouira a good one.
