Exceeded expectations - Highly recommend

The location, setting, holiday park and accommodation exceeded our expectations. Family of 4 staying for one night as a base for Zip World / Ffestiniog Railway. Accommodation was very clean and comfortable. The staff are very friendly. Highly recommend and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Peaceful Site

Lovely cosy caravan situated above a stream; although we had torrential rain, so it was more like a waterfall. However it was lovely listening to the water running by as you laid in bed. Peaceful campsite set in the hillside. Hotel and restaurant situated on the site, can’t comment on these as we didn’t use them. Great base for Exploring North Wales. Would definitely stay again.

Check-in was very easy just had to ring the bell at reception, lovely lady came out ( mask on ) and gave us a map and directions to caravan. The caravan was in great condition, shower a little small but it’s a caravan. TV was a bit hit and miss with reception you kept having to wiggle the wire at back but it was only really watched for an hour in morning and evening so not a big problem. Nice little bench outside to sit on. Beds were comfy with nice pillows and duvets. WIFI is £3 per day per device or £10 per day for all in caravan and it is high speed WIFI so worth it. The site is beautiful with a few lovely walks with some lovely waterfalls. Didn’t use the restaurant as was fully booked so can’t comment on this. Nothing on site to get any essentials but their is a Tesco’s about 10 mins down the road so no problem. Stunning area and would definitely come back.

So beautiful!

I loved this location. Beautiful trails to walk on. Quiet area for stay. Cute little caravan for the night with kitchenette. Made a small meal for the family. Great communication with staff.

beautiful part of the world

Beautiful place, clean and comfortable if I had one complaint it would be that the gas oven was very slow to cook food, other than that it was fantastic

Good location for walking

Pictures not the same as the cabin we had which was disappointing. Caravan appeared damp and bed just seemed always to have that damp feel. Located next to a lovely stream and downside was it keeps you awake. Very clean and easy to find. Okay for 2 days longer than that would not have been happy. Warning no facilities on site so pop to Tesco before you settle.

Very well maintained and set in a scenic location surrounded by mountains, waterfalls, greenery, streams, lakes etc. Well located as well.

Wonderful cosy cabin in beautiful peaceful setting

Lovely cosy fully functioning cabin in beautiful woodland setting. Perfect for our 3 night stay for 2 adults 2 children age 7 and 14. Well located to drive to main attractions in North Wales. Had a wonderful time and will certainly return. Note for families with young children: Top bunk is fab for kids but it is a steep climb.

The caravan was absolutely superb. Area that the caravan was in was stunning and location beautiful. Could do with a little more on site for the younger ones.
