Truly amazing. During the week it’s not usually full so imagine our delight as literally the ONLY guests in a 10 room Casona all to ourselves. Literally enjoyed the pool, hot tub and lounge area in our PJs. Staff were very kind and attentive, and quite good English. The manager Arturo was diligent in helping to book tours. Carlos is the large and jolly bartender who makes a delicious espresso martini and was king enough to make us fires nightly upon request and indulge me in lengthy conversations about tequila and mezcal. Armondo was our daytime/breakfast server and again provided exceptional service. The staff were genuinely friendly and seemed to be a happy team. The property is very clean and design is stunning. We were able to meet one of the architects during our stay and again couldn’t say enough about the features. Sliding glass would allow the team to close rooms and keep them worm at night or open for breeze during the day. Such a zen place! Location is about 10-15 min walk to downtown core. It’s steep streets in Valle De Bravo and older guests may have challenges hoofing it up and down several times a day (you can easily call cabs). There are loud dogs and chickens at night / morning but that’s standard for Mexico and doesn’t diminish the charm of the property!

Excellent place to have a great experience and very quite

The hotel is just beautiful, quiet, perfect for a weekend getaway. It is just a 10-minute walk away from the central plaza which is wonderful. The staff was the kindest and most attentive we could have hoped for, always looking to assist or help us. Decoration is lovely and food was very good. We will definitely come back again, what a great experience!

An oasis of calm in a sea of narrow, bustling roads. Well designed, reassuring, and peaceful. The service is top-notch, the selection of food, drinks, and wines is perfect, and the chef is excellent. The nightly fire in its massive hearth is the icing on the cake for each relaxing day.

It’s a great hotel, the only problem that I see is that the angle of the entrance is steep, it was a little difficult to get in to park. Everything else was great, the staff was super nice the whole time.

The architectural attention to detail was extraordinary. The staff was well trained,very helpful and friendly. A true standout boutique hotel.
