Not close to airport

It's not really near the airport ..and it costs 25 Euros for taxi each way .if your in transit give yourself an hour for arrival then same for checkout .so not that convenient .

Good stay

A good hotel - staff did need a bit more training as took a while to understand that it had been prepaid but room was good and breakfast was excellent

Do not make a booking at this hotel. I had a reservation at this hotel last Saturday 30/10 after flying into Berlin from the UK. I arrived at the hotel via a taxi from the airport at 11pm only to find the hotel was closed and empty. There was a sign on the door saying my reservation had been moved to another hotel a 15 minute drive away. I received no communication from staff, no email or phone call or notification. I am young female and was travelling solo, and I found myself alone at night in the middle of a deserted industrial park, a 15 minute walk from the nearest train station. Thankfully my phone had enough battery to book an uber, for which I had to wait an agonising half an hour and pay 30€. If not for that I would have been totally stranded. I’m truly appalled by the lack of communication from the hotel and I felt that I was put in danger. The experience has honestly left me quite shaken. I have emailed the hotel for an explanation and for compensation for the room and the uber to the other hotel, but this was 5 days ago and I have not had a response. Avoid this hotel at all costs.

Horrible Service.

After near enough 10 hours flying, I came to check in to my room. It was around midnight. The man who was at the desk at the time told me that apparently the room was already given to someone else who had a second name similar to mine. I was angry not only about that but also how disrespectful he was to me. He just hanged the paperwork to a random man with my room. After he told me that, he then forced to go to the nearest cashpoint to get money because he could only accept the cash and must be done NOW. How outrageous!!! I had to go get cash and come back then he did all of the paperwork and Around1.30 I went back to room! Then at around 3am I heard so many voices and music next to my room! But hey ho another surprise there’s no phone in the room, so you can’t even call the reception! Horrible experience never again!!!!!!!!!

Ceiling leaked water to the floor !

Maybe the air conditioning, leaked water from the ceiling to the floor! It kept so much noise that I couldn't sleep. :( Luckily our suitcases weren't under that rain, it would have been a catastrofe.

modern but isolated and impersonal

The hotel is modern but it's isolated from shops and transport. The staff are not very warming and the hotel has a cold and impersonal feel to it. Pretty overpriced for what it is.

Beautiful new hotel, close to airport

This hotel was great. We have nothing but good things to say about the staff, bar, amenities, room, cleanliness, shower... all fantastic. Because this is a newer neighbourhood, there aren’t many restaurants open in the area yet. Check to see what’s available before you go - you might decide to eat somewhere before you go to the hotel. There is a lot of building in the area, though, so I suspect this will change soon. Would definitely recommend, and stay again. Thanks!

Berlin Schönefeld Airport

Distance from Airport should be taken into account, when planning; about 3km. Bus routes for only 1.5 km. New shops in area about to open, though! ( mid-June 2019).
