Clean and Quiet Cottage w/ Private Yard. Great Location, pet Friendly!

I came down to Denver to visit family, friends and attend a couple events and the house was just perfect! I could easily let my dogs just hang out while I was gone with the cute little yard and doggie door! They loved it and were very content there. The owner/manager was very responsive and kind. Can't wait to go back! Super clean, cute and cozy:). New appliances, thoughtful decor, great internet and TV. I kind of just wanted to live there!! Was sad to leave and come back to my own house! Great place!

Great location for visiting family in denver . We have stayed with this owner several times and she has been pleasant work with . The propery is well supplied and in good condition.

I loved this Carriage House stay!! Very comfortable, clean and conveniently located. Especially wonderful because I do have a dog and the yard was perfect - and securely fenced! Nice neighborhood - easy to walk my dog!!

Michelle was very nice. Cute cottage BUT very dirty. The rug in the kitchen and bedroom was filthy and had several stains in the back of them. We put them outside to clean but it snowed a lot so we left them outside, not sure what to do with them. We arrived Sunday and I spent most of the evening cleaning. Because we were staying for over a week, I knew we were going to be in a lot so I had to clean all the kitchen cabinets and drawers and dishes, pots and pans and silverware. It was very very dirty! On the surface, it looked clean, but past that, it was very dirty. It snowed a lot and we are from South Texas so we are not use to it. One of our dogs found a way to get out when we were not there, through the doggie door and couldn't get back in so he messed up a part of the door so we knew we were not going to get our deposit back. What was upsetting is that Michelle was also charging us with cleaning the rugs we left outside and they were already filthy. All she needed to do was spray them with the hose or buy new ones. They were horrible and I think that was unfair. Keep the deposit because of the door. Our scared dog messed it up. But don't include the rugs. And consider how much we had to clean and be kind about it. Cute cottage but I will not go back. Janice Morfin

We stayed at this property while we were visiting family in the area. This property was clean and well maintained. Michelle was quick to respond to any questions. The location is central to all your needs. We will definitely stay here again. Oh and our two dogs give it a two paws up rating.... highest ever!!

My stay at Urban Oasis, Private Retreat was great! I stayed there with my husband and pups while we were in transition from moving from TX to CO. While moving to a different state can sometimes be a little hectic and stressful (especially with pets) coming "home" to this carriage house made me feel cozy and stress free. I felt like I was on vacation. My pups enjoyed hanging out in the private fenced yard with us while taking in some sunshine. I got to meet the owner, Michelle and she is very sweet and welcoming. Overall, we all enjoyed our stay and I would stay there again if the need ever arises. I definitely recommend a stay here if you're looking in the area!

I wish there were more than 5 stars I could give this wonderful, quiet, thoughtfully appointed little casita. The location was obscenely convenient to Downtown Denver and easy to find with the carefully provided directions. Uber, GrubHub, and Instacart were all able to find the casita for deliveries with a minimum of fuss. Somehow, in spite of being very centrally located to everything in Denver it was blissfully quiet and calm. This trip it was myself, my hubby and our sweet little doggie Aslana. The fact that this place not only permitted dogs, but even had a dog door and a tiny (but so pretty) fenced-in yard made caring for our dog blissfully easy. The owner and manager, Michelle, is kind, attentive, and very available for concerns. She reached out to me by text the day before we were due to arrive and provided directions, lock box codes, WiFi passwords and all the other goodies that I could just get on VRBO to retrieve but she made all that information super convenient by texting it to me. Michelle is also a fount of knowledge about the restaurants and other amenities in the local area. The kitchen was tiny but so wonderfully and thoughtfully stocked with cooking implements, towels, a dish/ rack drain (no dishwasher but none was needed), even a brand new sponge! All told this was one of the better rental by owner experiences we’ve had and I will go out of my way to assure we stay here again and work with Michelle in the future.

Michelle was always helpful with whatever we needed during our stay. We loved the location to get to the activities we were wanting to visit. Having a newer washer and dryer was marvelous. The fenced in yard is lovely. The gas grille is huge and the tank was full! She had many extra cooking supplies. Great stay and would highly recommend staying at any of her properties.

It was exactly as advertised. So close to medical center where a friend was. Clean, roomy and comfortable.
