From beginning to end, the service was amazing! We were greeted with a very tasty welcome drink and was asked if alcoholic or non alcoholic was preferred. Shows that they cared for people’s personal choices. We went for a friend’s birthday and were kind enough to help us prepare a birthday cake to be brought to the pool bar restaurant for dinner. Everything was on time and tasty! Breakfast and Dinner was delicious! couldn’t fault it at all! it was more or less different everyday so there was a wide range of variety and always hot! They cleaned everyday both room and public spaces. The staff were extremely friendly and greeted with a smile everyday! 100% recommend and would visit again!

It is a nice boutique hotel,the design is quite lovely. Pool area and beach area are comfortable. Would have been nice to see service a little bit more on point. We had to get up to order from the bar if we wanted anything. A downfall however, the washroom in the room is slightly inconvenient. To access your toilet bowl you must go thru the shower. If you need to use it while someone is in the shower it will not be possible. Using it after a shower...well..the floor is wet! Not sure why it has been design in such a way.The room itself is very nice. Check-out was ordinary to say the least. No thank you for staying with us and found the lady to be slightly rude when handing the invoice over. This hotel can easily be a 4 or 4.5 star but lacks a certain sense of hospitality. I give it a 3.5.

Beautiful hotel, not the best value for money.

This is a beautifully designed, modern property in a secluded area east of Chania. The rooms are small. They are quite well designed for the space, well appointed with a large balcony, a great shower and other amenities. But for the price and market the hotel is going for, they are a bit too small. Housekeeping was very responsive and did a good job, with one exception — the floors. They don’t seem to have or use vacuums. This became a bit of a concern when we smashed a glass coffee cup and could still find small bits of glass after they had cleaned the room. The beautiful pool area is very “Gilligan’s Island” in feel with beds constructed of small trees and covered by a crocheted net. Aesthetically it works, and one can envision clever craftspeople putting this all together, but as pointed out by others, it doesn’t work in terms of providing shade and most who were at the pool had towels strung up for shade; this really needs to be fixed. The food was quite good. We ate at the breakfast bar and the a la carte restaurant. Service at the restaurant was quite oddly done, and bad. In any case, we ate offsite at nearby tavernas most of the time. All in all it was a great stay. In terms of value for money, I might look elsewhere first the next time but I would gladly come back.

Pictures aren’t everything….

The low room rate is a teaser, everything this else is chargeable and very expensive. The spa services are far too expensive. The breakfast quality is very poor. Noise from the neighbouring tavern is unacceptable until 3am. (And they tavern patrons took over LaMer’s parking spots. Guests were told to park down the street.

The hotel is really nice with modern design.The pool area is the perfect place to relax and recharge your batteries. All the staff was amazing especially the kitchen staff and the manager of the pool bar. I informed him about my boyfriend’s birthday last minute and he managed to find a birthday cake and a candle. All in all, we had an amazing stay at this property. I highly recommend it

This hotel is AMAZING. The staff is absolutely incredible. They were so kind, helpful, and funny. The hotel itself is absolutely gorgeous and has the most incredible views. The food is also soooo delicious. It was very clean and they were super super covid safe! We had an amazing experience I will definitely be returning. Thank you!!!!!!!

Beautiful instagram-worthy hotel!

The hotel is beautiful!! Me and my friend just came back from 5 nights here and we had such a good stay. The rooms, pool area and bar/restaurant/lobby are all simply stunning. The hotel is a little away from anything, but the town Rethymno is only about 20 minutes away and perfect for the evenings (£2.50 on the bus, about £18 in a taxi). The breakfast and dinner in the buffet restaurant was surprisingly good for a buffet, and we bought lunch at the pool bar (prices are pretty decent for 5* and the pizzas are sooooo good). Also, the £12 bottles of La Mer white wine are way worth drinking! The only little issue was that for our first few days we had to call reception to turn the aircon on in our room as it wasn't working properly, but someone did come fix it in the end. The staff are all super friendly, especially one girl who would serve the pool bar in the day and the juice at breakfast but I never got her name! The hotel is totally instagrammable and I'd definitely stay again!! (Oh and grab yourself a Mai Tai at the pool bar.... be warned thought they're a bit strong)

4 star rooms could be bigger and better finished

The rooms seemed new yet the bathroom drainage system had a huge fault. The shower flooded the entire room on day 1. Hotel staff weren’t surprised, they laughed and said this happens in all the rooms, we’ll get it cleaned.

The resort was amazing, perfect service and happy staff. My husband and I spent our honeymoon over there and it was simply perfect! We would come back to the resort for sure.
