Great kept secret in Puerto Morelos. Away from massive resorts, beautiful place with the best service, clean and comfortable rooms with the best mattress and pillows. Rooms are big and it’s like the pictures shown. The staff is absolutely helpful and friendly. Breakfast is basic but great, more than enough to start the day. Sanitized rooms and all areas. If you look for a quite nice and beautiful place this is the one. Difficult to get by car but they will assist you on the phone. Congratulations to all the staff for the good job at customer satisfaction.

Absolutely fantastic

Wonderful place, one of the best kept secrets of the Maya Riviera! Great staff, wonderful pool and restaurant, huge rooms with balconies and hammocks--we will be back!

Just a bit of TLC needed

Property is not n need of TLC. Dirt road just needs to be graded. Would take about 3 hours. Several areas could be power washed. Food quality was low. Just have real bitter for f sake! Cleanliness is a C+ as we saw many issues like hair in the shower and toilet that was dirty. Quiet was nice though, sound of the waves was intoxication.

We will be back

Casa del Puerto is an intimate, small hotel overlooking the ocean. The rooms are huge, exceptionally clean with a balcony equipped with a day bed and a hammock. From there, one can enjoy spectacular sunrises and listen to the waves. The place is beautifully quiet, with excellent staff. There is no beach to sunbathe unfortunately (the ocean comes crushing to the wall) but you can go for walks or lounge around the pool. We will certainly be back as we truly enjoyed the place and were able to relax there. There is a restaurant with tasty food. Yes, you need a car as it is far from everything (which we also enjoyed). Restaurants are 15 minutes away by car with lots of choices.

Great spot!

This is a beautiful spot! The staff was terrific, the room was enormous and exceptional, loved the pool and the patio lounge chair outside our room with a gorgeous view, plus we had a wonderful breakfast! The beach is a little eroded right now due to recent storms, but we were still able to get down for a beach walk. The only downside was the access road that is very rough and potholed right now, but not the fault of the hotel.

Staff is friendly, the waitress made each guest feel like a friend! The chef made amazing food! The only issue we had was no hot water for showers until we asked the front desk and they turned it on! Other than that it was great, beach views are incredible! Rent a car though because you have to go fr into the jungle to get to the property and not easy to get around unless lots of money in taxi fees!

I can’t say enough about this place. I loved it so much. It was exactly the covid geteaway we needed. Serene, beautiful, spotless, and away from it all. All of the rooms are ocean view and lovely. We calculated that our room was about 450 sq feet!!! Simplicity and perfection. The staff was very helpful and attentive. The pool is lovely. And there restaurant/bar was great. It is remote a $30 plus tip taxi ride into Puerto Morelos. The only things that would improve the hotel would be a shuttle into town and a rooftop bar ( it looked there had been one a some point). I will definitely be back!

The property is nice but getting here is a rocky road. In addition the location is a beach front property but the beach is not at all good. If you plan to stay here be assured that the guest treatment is good but the location is not the best.
