This has gotta be one of the best locations in this area. Truly beachfront and awesome people.

Truly amazing location at the quieter end of one of the prettiest beaches in Costa Rica! The breakfast choices were really great, eggs any way you wanted or pancakes or yogurt with granola, excellent fruit each day and delicious toasted bread and jelly. Our room was basic but met all of our needs and was very clean with a good AC. The grounds, with the great beachside hammocks and chairs were top notch. There were delicious restaurants nearby and we felt very safe going anywhere in Santa Teresa. The shower could have been a bit warmer but this was a minor thing and the only negative. Great surfing, sunsets and tide pools!

We loved Casa Cecilia. Everyone there was amazing. It’s right on the beach in front of surf. So waking up checking the surf , eating breakfast and being at the beach all day was a dream. There’s an amazing restaurant right next door called Rocamar that we pretty much ate lunch there everyday. Fish tacos best deal on the lunch menus. Amazing smoothies , people and coffee. We are planning are next Costa Rica trip already and guaranteed we will stay at Casa Cecilia’s again and forever. It’s just outside of the kinda busy Santa Teresa but close enough to walk and get all of the excitement. We loved nami , Chile viola , burger Rancho , and countless other amazing restaurants.

This was a great spot on the beach down the quieter end of Santa Teresa, but was still very crowded during Christmas break. Beautiful view, a good amount of lounge chairs and hammocks on the beach in the shade, and surf right out front. My only complaint was that there is a campground next door, and the campers often came over and used the lounge chairs and tables to sit in the shade and use their wifi, sometimes taking up some of the best spots while smoking and drinking. The hotel seemed to allow this.

Everything was perfect. Beach view upstairs is the perfect setup for a surfing couple.

My man and I recently stayed at Casa Cecilia for a week. The experience was perfection. The grounds are on the beach, you can’t get any closer, and a beautiful surrounding landscape. The staff are all exceptional, warm and welcoming. Rodrigo made us the best omelettes each morning and the housekeeper maintained clean and comfortable rooms. We were delighted to be shown by the staff that wales were breaching directly in front of the hotel.There were monkeys sleeping in the natural surrounding area as well. Staff brought in a massage therapist who was perfect for sports therapy and also relaxing, he also provided us with a lot of information on activities and food in the area. The dinning room is open air and lovely, it was a delight to meet other vacationers in the morning as we ate breakfast, watching the surf. There is plenty of shade directly on the beach with many hammocks and lawn chairs available to kick back and relax. The staff made recommendations that helped us get back to SJO for our return home. We were sad to leave but looking forward to our return to this magical location.

A very nice hotel. Service is fantastic. Breakfast is light buy very good. Specially the bread. Next time in Santa Teresa, it will be our choice for SURE
