Exquisite 4300 sf Home on 3 Acres Near Town, Skiing, and Shopping

Everything was fantastic!!! The home was super clean, well equipped and the property was terrific. The pond was a super hit for the kids and adults too! We all had a wonderful week!

The house was lovely, clean and nicely equipped, with plenty of common space for everyone to socialize and be comfortable. The pond, full of little fish and frogs, was a big hit with the little kids. Val was very responsive and proactive and provided some excellent recommendations for fun things to do in the area (Lye Brook Falls hike and North Meadow Farm were particular favorites). Thanks for a lovely vacation!

Our family has been fortunate enough to stay here for a week in Fall for the past 5 years. Val and Bill have always taken the time to cater to our every need, truly beyond expectation. The house is perfectly situated on a private road so close to the center of Manchester. Our children love the pond in the back, the large backyard, and the beauty of the Vermont outdoors. We have already booked our stay for 2020 and look forward to staying at our home away from home every year.

We really enjoyed the house and the area. A perfect getaway. Can’t wait to be back!

Really stunning house and property. Very well maintained and roomy, with options for all members of the family. Manchester is walking distance, if you like to walk and don't mind areas with no sidewalks.

We have rented this house for an extended family getaway for the second time and were not disappointed. He house is great and has tons of room. The owners are also extremely quick to reply to any messages. We appreciate the opportunity to stay again.

Beautiful house! The pictures didn't do it justice. The owners were very accommodating and responsive too. All in all, a great experience!

Valerie Tanney (and partner Bill) were extremely caring hosts (even from almost 3,000 miles away at their other home!). We spoke several times and communicated every day via Text or e-mail. They even took the foresight to have 2 packages sent for supportive bed sheets and another small bathroom necessity via UPS (or another shipper?) The home was in mint condition and the myriads of windows were spotlessly clean, as was everything else...The outdoor area (yard, trees, plants etc had all been meticulously maintained) On a hundred-point-scale...my visitors and I would rate this a 99.9 point rating. This house is well appointed and spacious. We were only 7 people and the house could likely handle twice that. Everything in the house is modern and has everything you could need. The grounds are beautiful including a pond full of fish and frogs. Manchester, VT is an exceptional small town. It's about 2 miles to the restaurants and shops. I would not hesitate to rent again.
