A Seattle Gem

Anniversary weekend

We had a wonderful stay at the State Hotel! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The property is well kept, clean, and in a great location. If we ever get back to Seattle, this would be our place to stay.

Great place to stay

It was very clean and close to Pike market. The beds are great. Everything in the room worked.

Parking night mare

The hotel and staff were fine. Parking was very frustrating for us. First, our fault but still frustrating -our driving app had us going to the south side of the hotel and there was no place to park, and the one way grid has us going around and around trying to find a place to park. Second - finally told to go park in the parking structure down the street. We did, we tried at least 15 times but could not get their parking code to take our payment- it kept timing out. And you had to know your license plate- we were in a hurry to meet out appointment and was so frustrated with all the parking crap we were stressed out. We gave up. Couldn’t get it to work in the morning either. We paid $32 for about 12 hours of parking. We likely won’t be back it was so frustrating.

BEST EXPERIENCE!!

Outstanding!!! This hotel is right in the heart of the great parts to the city. One block from Pike Place market and any other place. The restaurant was a very chic and lively place as well. We loved the service everyone was pleasant and we were finally getting a honeymoon as well as celebrating our anniversary and the staff helped us honor this special occasion! Thank you!

Perfect downtown spot

I was so impressed with the service. Everyone was enthusiastic, very kind and helpful. I was also super impressed with how eco-conscious this hotel is. Also, we had killer view of Pike’s Place from our room! The hotel’s also very on-trend with their aesthetics.

Hotel is in the heart of everything. Only a block from Pike Place Market, and within a few blocks of some museums and a ton of other things. Great view of the Sound from the rooftop terrace.
