Booked for 5 but only 4 beds when arrived. Overnight person was excellent and sorted us out quickly. Not enough bowls, plates, spoons etc for 5 - all based on 4 people. And no chopping board!!

We got put in a room with no Aircondioning (was broken) room was grubby and hot, looked nothing like any in the pictures, when we tried to get the issue resolved the caretaker? Was really rude, the ladies at the front desk were lovely (but we could hear the caretaker complaining about us from behind the wall in the office) eventually we were able to get our room swapped, the second room was much better and the aircon worked, however we couldn’t get any Netflix or anything working on the tv. Only one elevator was working and our car parking ended up being on level 2 instead of basement, so we couldn’t access our car unless someone else who had a key fob that allowed access to level two came into the lift with us as our fob was configured for the basement level (which had recently flooded) rooms were not soundproof, dishwasher was broken inside and I had to work out how to re attach the blades before I could use it, couches were very uncomfortable, and overall it was just a pretty terrible experience. Will not be returning. I booked because it was close to the hospital for my son, and none of my special requests were even considered, also we were told the day before we could have an early check in at 12pm however when we got there we were advised our room would not be ready until 2, the. It took another hour until we were put in a suitable room

We stayed 3 nights, first 2days NO AIRCON terrible... we told reception but staff didn’t help at all. Last day finally a lady staff changed to another room but we have to wait in the hot room for more than 2 hours with kids.. We paid more than $200 per night, but just unprofessional staffs and also sofa and pillows are uncomfortable. We were very disappointed this unorganised property. But room size were good and neat.

Not cleaned! Pubic hair on crockery and a roach!

We were quite excited to find a spacious 2 bedroom so close to Southbank and for the price it should have been fantastic but we certainly won't be returning to or recommending Atlas Arise! The room was nice enough, spacious etc but they clearly hadn't cleaned anything but the linens before we got there. First impression was the dining table and the chairs covered in cake crumbs and dried milk then we found the tv remote tucked into the back of the couch cushions. Dirty marks all over most walls, dirty splashes on the back of the ensuite door. I opened the crockery cupboard and immediately told the children not to use anything! There were pubic hairs and other goop all over the dishes, reception was closed at this point so we were stuck there, luckily we were eating out. I checked the beds and they at least seemed clean. The balcony door lock didn't work, luckily our kids are old enough that it wasn't a safety concern for them. Then the fun really began... neither shower was draining away and it was beginning to flood the bathrooms, we had to lift the drain tile in both showers then shower without it to allow the water to actually go down the drain! As if that wasn't disappointing enough at this stage, there was a huge cockroach in the main bedroom as we are going to bed! The nice lady at reception was apologetic about the cleanliness and said she would put in my concerns with cleaning crew but that room needs a deep cleaning that I don't think it's ever had.

Not for us

Stayed here for 3 nights with the kids. Location was good and the pool was cold but fine but the beds were pretty uncomfy and the place was pretty dirty. Prob not for us again
