Fantastic hotel

We were greeted by very helpful staff on reception who provided us with all the info required. The suite was very spacious with amazing views of the mountains & pool area. Fantastic atmosphere in the bar area with various entertainment throughout the evening. The only negatives were that there was no other mirrors apart from in the bathroom & there is no tv in the bedroom.

Hotel booked a party w loud music until 2;00am

It’s 1:20am and a party with loud music is still going on. We have had no sleep! When we called the front desk we were told a private party booked a room above us and are allowed to play their loud dance music until 2;00am and there was nothing they could do about it! I would highly recommend NOT staying in this hote if you plan to sleep.

The property is in a great location but not worth the money. Our room wasn’t ready at check in time and the staff weren’t very friendly or helpful. The amenities in the room were nonexistent. We paid 500 euro per night for the tiniest room with no coffee maker and barely enough light to see by. I would definitely not recommend this ridiculously overpriced hotel.

Very much a hostel-like type of hotel, which could be great but definitely not when priced at EUR 400 per night. A fun and conveniently located place to go, but overall amenities cannot justify that type of price.

Very nice

A great location, less than 5 minute slow walk to the centre of Chamonix. The room are very comfortable and the room I started in had a view straight into Mont Blanc. The bar was ok, although the beer was very expensive and was ‘Carlsberg’ and the glass was half full of froth. Bit that’s being picky, would definitely stay again

Close to town. About a 20 minute walk to cable car. Room was small dorm type room for skiers, not families. Hotel had many amenities. No A/C but room was cool with open window. France, the concierge was wonderful and went above and beyond to help us.

This is a comfortable and conveniently-located hotel just blocks from downtown Chamonix. What we liked: AMAZING breakfast spread (but not cheap), clean, all the staff were very nice, pool (what a view!) and the location. What we didn't like: the concept, while interesting, didn't work for us. There were no quiet places to just sit and read outside of our hotel room (which had no chairs, just the bed) and when we did decide to grab a drink or pizza on the patio, the music was abrasive. It would be fine if it was just one- but you can both hear a DJ playing loud music outdoors and also the indoor performances of their (very talented and under-appreciated!) dancers. The combination of the two was just obnoxious and I'm really surprised nobody at the hotel has noticed and addressed this. We also had a mishap with a couple items that had been sitting on the bed (there aren't many spots to put things in these rooms, they're small!) getting taken away with laundry when housekeeping came by. It took three different people and 24 hours to, thankfully, get our belongings back (this was not a language barrier issue, I speak fluent french). Major credit to the person who finally did, he was very kind, but this was quite stressful and made all future housekeeping dates anxiety-producing. Overall - if you're traveling here with a bachelor/bachelorette party, or with young kids, this is probably a great choice. Otherwise, consider looking elsewhere.
